Hi Jody! I lived in Colorado for 2 years and I seriously miss the mountains. I'm totally jealous :) And that one goal a month is a good idea! I may have to try that!

I was born and raised in Inverness, FL and just moved from Ocala :) Now I'm near Orlando and the big city is quite a shock for me LOL I'd say it definitely counts as a fruit :) Strawberry Ice Cream? Not so much ;) I think I'm going to saute some asparagus for lunch :)

It is tough and definitely not the same as fresh! I'm lucky that I live in Florida and can get fresh produce most every month of the year. Spring and Summer will be here soon :)

Thanks :) I'm doing pretty good. I'm actually worried more now that I won't eat much than eat too much. I planned to hit my mini elliptical while the girls take a nap today and my son plays on the computer. I'd like to do 30 minutes or so maybe more if I can find something to watch while I do it to keep me motivated.…

I weigh myself daily, but I'll take whatever my weight is on Sunday mornings and post it here. Starting Weight 1/29: 222.6 lbs

I like that idea! We can call it a rainbow challenge and try to eat at least 3 different colored fruit and veggies and a total of 5 for the day. :D

I had a medium apple for breakfast :) It was delish and I didn't even have to smother it with peanut butter :P

I have NO clue what to have for my dinner. Bless his heart my husband bought noodles and alfredo sauce for him and the kids for dinner. Not what i want/can have. So I'm debating on a smoothie with an egg added right now.

Make sure you know what your BMR is. That's how many you need just to maintain the basic functions of your body :)

As long as you are eating enough calories to keep your body fueled and you aren't feeling hungry, then no, I wouldn't think you'd have to eat them all back.

Let's put it this way. I track my calories and my weight. Everyday. On a day when I eat nothing but junk and stay in my range, I'll lose weight. Woot! I admit I can't only drink water. So I use those sugar free drink mixes (crystal light, diet ocean spray, etc) in some of my water of the day to keep me from getting bored. I can actually get away with one packet for ever 32 oz I drink instead of just the 16 oz its meant for.

I'm on about cup #6 for the day of my water. I have a 32oz drink mug that I fill with water/flavored water, twice a day. I'm at the half way mark for cup #2 for the day. I've had 2- bite brownies staring me in the face all day. Do you know how many calories are in a serving? 180. Do you know how many brownies is in a serving? 2... TWO! 1-inch diameter brownies. I can drink an entire yummy smoothie for that much. I'm going to have to make myself one to rid myself of this sugar craving.

Hi Amber! I love bunnies :) I keep wanting to get one for my kids (maybe one I can make yarn from ;) ) but I'm afraid of the responsibility one top of my wee ones. I've had a few friends who had trouble gaining weight even through eating nothing but junk just to try. I'm here to talk to any time.
