Alrighty then - been reading up on Keto Cycling and think this might be an option for me. Switched my macro goals to reflect this and even took the test on Bodybuilding.com to confirm my body type and got a recommended 21 day program by Ashley Conrad. I won't be able to follow it to the letter but it will be yet another…

Met oldest daughter and grand baby for lunch at burger 21. Spent 3-4 hours walking through the mall. Picked up a round cake (smallest they had) at Sam's club and favorite artisan vanilla bean ice cream. Had 2 slices of cake and ice cream after getting home. Now I have a head ache and feel sick from all the fat and sugar..…

To sum up our earlier convo: Cheeseburger(s) and birthday cake - regularly scheduled body blast class, walking at the mall, maybe yogilates on Sunday. Belly dancing class also an option but I'm just not that comfortable in my own skin to be rolling my belly around yet. :D

Right now...I got nothing. Two of my three girls are grown married and out of the house. They live 2-4 hours away (one in state one out of state) and usually have to work holidays (healthcare industry). I've grown accustomed to being non traditional with our holiday celebrations and right now we're working on a "fake…

As you adjust to healthier food choices your taste buds adjust too. And eventually your body will respond negatively to too much sugar. Excellent planning BTW! :)

It's an awful taste that comes from eating a lot of protein and very little carbs. I read what it's called but forgot. It tastes like bad breath. :)
-
I don't know how people do low carb for long periods of time. The after taste is awful! :(

Thanks! :)

This has happened to me every single time. You have to keep it up. You have to keep making good choices!

I was feeling down the other day and made the comment to my daughter that I was tired of struggling and not seeing results. Her reply was "But mom you have seen the kind cf results you get if you stop working out." Smart girl! I'm working harder now and paying attention to what and how I eat.
-
Awesome! And the best part is you earned it! Enjoy!

Try having some protein a along with a big glass of water and head off to bed.

Weekend was great. I stuck to yogurt , kashi go lean and banana as my sweet treats plus I found some Cinnamon popcorn that helped too. Screening is Thurs am @ 7:15 so I'm trying to keep low carb and low sodium till then just to see if that helps. Awesome loss with the slingshot BTW! :)

That's a pretty impressive loss! Doctors don't know everything especially when it comes to personal determination. Don't let that doctor dampen your determination! While I do hope the thyroid issue is totally taken care of I have no doubt you will reach your goals!
-
Awesome! I copied it from my Gym's FB page. :)

Absolutely! Welcome! :)

GOAL: This coming weekend I'm replacing sweets (candy, cookies, cake etc) with fruit and or nut butters or greek yogurt. They'll be marking the Halloween candy down soon and I've got to learn to discipline myself!
