I have a BOB Revolution SE stroller I run with my 4 year old in. We also go bike riding, he rides in a bike trailer. We go to the parks and ride the trails, then he gets to go and play on the playgrounds when we're finished. He also tries to do insanity with me as well.

Yes, I bought one at a kitchen store close to me. I use it to weigh my foods because I was always 'guessing; how much something weighed and my portions were way off. It was like $20 for a nice digital one and I use mine daily. I'd say it's worth it. :)

Go to an actual running shoe store. They will have you walk/run on a treadmill and a pad to see how your feet land when you do both.
