She's just not ready yet. I have a friend who thinks she's dieting by eating a taco salad.

Looking to buy my first food scale too. I've heard the Escali Scale/Nutritional Tracker (115NS) is good. It sells for 50 dollars everywhere - but I found it at Catering Supplies Depot for 22.99.. Glad I didn't buy the Taylor at Target yesterday for more!

I've known people on it. Lost impressive amount of weight quickly, but gained it all back. You have to learn how to eat properly and not rely on drops. And please don't use the excuse about having your gallbladder removed. I had mine removed 1 month ago, and I'm doing just fine. Couldn't eat much for the first few days…

Black one is stunning on you. Red is nice too, but black is sexy and sophisticated. Have a great time!

Absolutely agree with you. And what I don't understand is why would these parents want their children to go through what they went through as kids. I was never that overweight, but when you weigh 25 pounds more than other girls when you're in high school its still rough. These parents are setting their kids up for a lot of…

And another one..... I was raised Catholic and will always be Catholic, but I've always been very tolerant of other religions. However, i was just browsing the "Athiest" group that came up on a sidebar and it just got me all wound up. To believe in NOTHING? Unbelievable. How can you get through life and all its ups and…

I say just ignore it. About 4 years ago I was about 15 pounds overweight and decided to do the Atkins Diet. Sounded good to me - I could live on bacon and butter. I lost about 10 pounds but absolutely CRAVED carbs, even though I never really did before. I'm talking frying potatoes twice a day. I used more potatoes in a…

Aggh. I was in your position 2 years ago. My daughter was getting married in the summer and I wanted to get rid of the 50 lbs. I've gained and lost more times than I can remember. I basically counted calories and joined a gym. I did not know about this site, so I just wrote down everything I ate and tried to keep it 1200…

Hi! I'm 55 years old and was diagnosed with MS when I was 36. I'm one of those people say "but you look so good" to when I tell them. Don't know what your symptoms and challenges are, but would be happy to hear from you.

Like the others, save some of your calories for snacks. You can't deprive yourself. Trust me, after years of yo-yo dieting it doesn't work. I can remember buying 6 candy bars and eating them all at once. I always have the 100 calorie bag popcorn on hand. I spritz it with Olivio buttery spray, which know is crap, but I…
