Hey! I'm 5'2" as well. Started at the end of January at 162 and I'm now at 148. Hope to lose another 20-25lbs. Feel free to add me!

Because I have no self control, I picked up something I was craving at that moment: a dark chocolate covered peep.

I am also a Yuengling Light drinker. Anything else just tastes like water, so if there's no Yuengling LIght available I'll just have fewer regular Yuenglings.

I take my dog for a long walk before I go for my run. I consider it as my warm up. That way I don't have to worry about poo while I run, or stopping every minute when he wants to smell something. Plus, my dog can't keep up with me.

Don't beat yourself up over it! Tomorrow is another day.

Feel free to add me, too! I've got another 20-30lbs to go (currently at 148, want to get to 125/120).

You should tell them the truth. Perhaps try to find some friends who can show you what you can do for fun while sober. I went through this in college (although, I think a lot of people have experienced something like this at some point in their lives). Unfortunately for me, those friends just didn't understand and I ended…

^^ This. ^^ If something works for you, great. If I'm doing the opposite and it's working for me, don't try to tell me I'm doing the wrong thing.

I don't know what the circumstances are, but I pounded out my upset/anger at the gym after my last breakup. I found Nonpoint's "Alive and Kicking" a great song to listen to when I was upset.

In high school I danced up to 5 days a week and weighed 120lbs, but still had a slight belly (thanks, genetics). That belly made me feel fat even though I could leg press the entire stack in the school gym and wear a size 3. I would scoff if anyone called me beautiful or pretty because I just couldn't see it. A knee injury…

I want to feel happy in my own skin. I want to live life to the fullest and being in shape makes it easier to do just that.

120. My current goal is 125, but if I could see 120 again I would be thrilled.

Single here, too. Pretty content with that status for now.

That's all well and good if someone starts dieting with the idea of being a role model for others. Most people I know are doing it for themselves and need to do what works best for them. I, personally, consider what I'm doing not a diet but a lifestyle change. I'm not going to give up cheese and chocolate cake for the rest…

I have three tattoos. Another two planned. One is a tiger/butterfly (tiger fur extends to the shape of a butterfly), which has no real meaning but I thought about it for 10 years before I got it so I figured I wouldn't regret it later. I have the words "I am" which is part of a quote from Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar (has…

I have "I am" tattooed on the inside of my left wrist in the direction that I can read it. It was inspired by my depression/my future happiness, and weight loss is included in that idea. I'm also a literature nut, so it's in reference to Sylvia Plath's The Bell Jar: "I took a deep breath and listened to the old bray of my…

1. I feel that I am not intelligent. I have a bachelor's and a master's degree, but feel like I've managed to fool everyone into thinking I know what I'm doing. And I know that my thinking this way is sabotaging my career. No clue how to fix it. 2. I've been single for going on 3 years now and I haven't been on a date in…

I give my mini schnauzer Blue Buffalo. I started him on it after he gained a lot of weight from a combination of wet and dry food full of fillers. Took him a little while to get used to it, but he loves it now.

You can add me!

Air popped popcorn with a little salt and spray butter. Quaker rice snacks. I'm partial to the sweet chili kind. A friend of mine makes kale chips. I've yet to try them, but I want to sometime soon.

I'm 30.

Goals: Water: 7/7 Food: 6/7 F/V: 3/7 Exercise: Strength: 30/60, Cardio: 120/90, Stretching: 15/15 It was tough to get in all the fruits and veggies. Harder than I thought it would be considering I already eat salad and fruit salad every day at lunch when I'm at work.

Thanks for this! I've always called what I do more jogging than running because my activity-indused asthma keeps me at a slower pace, even with my inhaler. But I feel stupid calling it jogging because for my body, it feels like running. Great to hear that it really is running. :-D

I'm 5'2", 153 lbs, a Zumba instructor part time and I take classes with other instructors as well. Honestly, the HRM is the best way to go for an accurate calorie count. If you can manage to get your HRM for a gift (I got it for a birthday present last year after telling people for months that it was the only thing I…

Feel free to add me! My friend list is pretty short so far and I would love more support!

This sounds amazing. I need to remember to try this very soon.
