David Lee Roth ... THE voice of Van Halen! I may be biased because I saw them in concert at Anaheim Stadium in the late 70's. They were one of the warmup bands for Boston.

OMG .... I am so sorry for you for having to deal with that ... I agree with the poster who said that after you lose the weight he will find something else to not like about you ... either that, or he'll be CONSTANTLY watching what you eat, and belittling you for any slip-up. He sounds like a controlling jerk who is very…

Terriers are extremely active .... This is what I've been told ... here are our two hyper little Airedales:
-
Oh yeah ... What She said!!! ^^^^^^ They can get really hyper if they don't get their exercise! @ Air Angel ... Is yours a rescue? Ours are.

Terriers respond much better to positive reinforcement than negative reinforcement. When he goes potty outside, praise him lots and give him a treat. If he goes inside, and you catch him in the act, be firm and tell him NO. If you don't catch him at it ... don't scold him, he'll not know what it's about. just clean it up.

I see Jack Russell terrier in that baby! What a cutie, too! FTR, I grew up with an Airedale Terrier, my brother had one, and I now have two. They're kinda like Lays ... You can't have just one!

First of all, congratulations on your dedication to a lifestyle change. Now, to answer your question ... do nothing. If you can't do anything about it, ignore it. You cannot change someone else's behavior. You can only change how you CHOOSE to respond to it. You can either get upset and fret about what someone else thinks…

That is an extremely valid reply and statement. I know that mental illnesses ARE very real. My wife knows also, all too well, the pit I was in, and I am sure it was no picnic for her to sit and hear me talk about how I just wanted the pain to stop and the lengths I was willing to go to do so. Interestingly enough, God was…

Daily prayer, meditation, and keeping myself in His Word helps, as does giving to Him those things I can't do anything about, and keeping the eternal perspective in sight. This is all temporary, and I need to make the best use of the gifts He has given me. If I die tomorrow, I get to be with Him, and if I don't I get to…

^^^ THIS!!! <3 <3<3 I was similar, suffering from suicidal depression, had been prescribed Celexa, but I didn't have anyone who really introduced me to Jesus. I had someone who told me to pray "God, IF you're there, help me" (I was an atheist). I did more than that, I said "God if you're there, show me the way". ... I…

WOW! I am so sorry for your loss. You are an inspiring young lady, for how you turned this tragic loss to triumph. I am sure that your boyfriend, even though he is not with you, is smiling on you now. Congratulations, and keep up the wonderful work!

I can't access it from the app, but I use safari to do so.

I have not gone to an OA meeting, but found their online site (www.therecoverygroup.org) to be very helpful for me while I was working through my step work for AA. I would say that if you think you might have a problem, go to their site and read some of their stories. Usually someone will tell a bit about where they were…

Totally amazing!!! You have done wonders. Keep up the good work!

I had my last drink on 10/23/2011. It has been an amazing journey! I am sending you a friend request, as there are some things I think I can help with.

Bryant Stamford, a fitness guy (professor and chairman over the Department of Exercise Science at Hanover College in Hanover IN) once wrote a column in the Louisville Courier Journal, and said that lowfat chocolate milk was almost THE perfect post exercise food ... I'd cut and paste the whole article, but I don't have a…

First of all, I am sorry to hear of your loss. That is a tough one. Second ... please don't beat yourself up too much, you're still grieving. It's barely been 1 1/2 months. It will take a while. By the same token, don't use this as license to eat everything in sight. You need to establish a support group. Enlist the aid of…

OUCH! ... I know the feeling, though ... back in the 80's I had a Mazda 626GT (86) that I ended up trading in on a Hyundai Excel after getting married. :(

My brother-in-law had one ... it was hard to start also, and the first(last) time he let my sister drive it, she fouled the plugs trying to start it ...

I really do like the newer GTO'S, even though GM didn't go retro on them ... they're in keeping with the spirit of the original ... mid-sized car, BIG motor, beefier suspension, lotsa dash, not a whole lotta flash (ORIGINALLY).

Nice cars and nicer pics!
-
That's the view that most cars see of yours! Nice ride.

Since the topic was raised .... here's mine: 1970 Pontiac GTO, stock 400, 3.90 rear end ... it doesn't go really fast, but it gets there quickly and wastes lots of rubber in the process! http://www.1160main.com/cars/goat1.jpg for now, go to the link, till I can resize it Here's another pic

Two wonderful, lovable, huge (by breed standard) Airedale Terriers! Kinda like having two Jack Russel Terriers, only one's 90 lbs and one's 70 lbs!
