Like the others said, ignore. And be successful at whatever you good at, then you don't have time to look at them.

There is nothing to be afraid of, and there are many "Thanksgiving dinner" entries in the database! Christmas dinners too.

Yes! I actually lost 85 pounds not counting, it was not luck, it was totally awareness of food. But the only way to do that is to know portion sizes very well and know your nutrition well enough to make your meals with all the knowledge and awareness in your head, like having a meal plan in your head. I can do it, but I…

This is the battle. We all have the capacity to go down this road, the sooner you find comfort in other things including WORK, the sooner you will learn to have the discipline to get health for your body. Embrace the nitty-grity of any kind of work including food planning and discipline and you will attract beauty.

I find that for me the percentages make it more complicated than it needs to be. Like you, I'm 56 and I've lost 85 pounds (and kept it off for nearly 6 years now) but did it without making my life so complicated. I'm 5 foot nothing so my window for deficit/maintenance calories is very narrow, but it's pretty narrow for the…

Nothing to give up. It's all in how much and how often, some days you get more treats than others, and you always KNOW you can have more next time!!!! No depriving. Depriving is what makes all the fad diets fail! Although you learn from all the years of failure as they are merely 10,000 ways that didn't work just like…

Everything everyone said, and all the recipes. OMG one of the best foods ever. You can sub it in cubed in any sweet potato salad recipe, and just about anything sweet potato. It's a lower calorie version of a "like" sweet potato sort of like what cauliflower is to pototo, or a way to "water it down with a similar…

I take creatine off and on, mostly when I take it I seem to have slightly more endurance in my workouts and slightly better recovery after workouts. BCAA's are really only beneficial to me for fasted workouts and seem to make me feel better. If I'm going to take creatine, I take it every day but I also workout pretty much…

Mine was higher when I was obese, now it's still really pretty high, high enough that the doctor wants me to take statin drugs but I refuse. He's seen what I've done with my health, losing 85 pounds at age 50 and still an elite athlete at almost 56, and he knows my diet and supplement routine, and exercise both cardio and…

THIS ^^^ Actually I just make my own custom cardio workout, ie "Leg Day weight lifting" or "Intermittent Superset all body weight lifting" or whatever and give it 1 calorie per minute. It saves the workout entries and you can reuse them.

I know many with PCOS who succeed, mainly it's just taking the deficit slowly, not too low, and consistency. Do whatever you can to keep stress down as that is what drives hunger up. Too much exercise, not enough sleep, too low of a deficit, not enough protein, depriving of carbs or fats or nutrients will all cause stress…

I don't get it, you are constantly hungry and you think you should eat less? This makes no sense. Whether or not anyone else lost weight eating under 1200 has nothing to do with your situation. The answer is in your own body. But what is your height? That is the main basis for your maintenance, and anything under…

It's all estimates, your body always has the answer more than any computer, chart, calculator, guru, or theory. Obviously it's a deficit if you are losing body fat. Don't confuse body weight with body fat though, the body is much more than fat cells!!!! No reason to be confused, you'll learn your body over time if you pay…

No it's never our first rodeo! lol Pay off the mortgage debt (body fat), then manage the check book for the rest of your life. I don't care if it's called calories, macros, points, portions, meal plans, carbons.. manage the food energy and keep your awareness and it's just like finances. We don't get to spend with wild…

I think we all feel that way to some extent. You are not alone. Mostly it is too much stress and too much food available, a bad combination. We all have to find ways to reduce stress and slowly change our environment to set ourselves up for success. There is nothing easy about it. There is nothing easy about logging food,…

I have heard that Costco makes a bar that imitates the quest bar in natural ingredients for far less cost. You can eat whenever you want, all that matters is how you feel with your eating patterns, and then the amount of calories/macros/nutrients in a 24 hour period. Every day does not have to be the same, roll with the…

I plan deficit days and maintenance days. I never call eating cheating. It's either a deficit, maintenance, or over maintenance, and we are meant to enjoy all the food.

Everyone needs to learn in their own time, in their own way. Nothing to be scared of. You own your body, they own theirs, eventually they learn what is best for their own body - but it takes time to learn. Be patient and kind, because everyone fights a battle you know nothing about.

One of the biggest joys of losing body fat, for sure! Awesome job!

Vacation trips are a perfect reward for reaching your goal, no matter where you go. And remember, when you get back it's the same tools you are learning now to get back on track - for life!

Yes, you need to check with your doctor if this continues. I've had a feeling like that when overly fatigued which is very rare.

yum! I love pumpkin spice. I make an egg white protein custard with pumpkin and spice too,

What works now may not work later. Personally I don't like any diet that cuts out whole food groups, macros, or too many rules, too many horrors of yo-yo dieting since the 80's on every new fad. No thanks. A little of everything in moderation got me to lose 85 pounds and keep it off going on 6 years for now. Anyone can…

Hi there! Fat loss is all about the calorie deficit. Sometimes when you try to add in calorie burn from exercise it might hinder the actual deficit. It happens very slow when you get below 15% body fat, very very slow. It's really the slight deficit consistently over time. Ever since I've gotten to lower body fat I give…

Both are good. I'm very petite so I don't have as much room in my calorie budget for whole eggs, so I either have one egg, or several egg whites. Egg whites are a very amazing way to get extra protein in without a lot of calories. The yolk adds a lot of calories and not a lot of protein. Also it depends of the texture of…

There is so much freakin food everywhere you turn! Setup your environment for success as much as possible for when there is not as much willpower. Willpower can't always be relied upon, but you can certainly get better at it. You strengthen in your mind just like a muscle as to those choices and WHY - it has to be a deep…

Anyone can lose weight with just the calorie deficit and no exercise. Cardio is good for your health, in moderation. And resistence training will extend the life of your joints and bones into older age. If you want to be youthful for life consider a little bit of resistence training.

All lifting heavy means is that you need to lift enough to need a rest in between sets of say 10-15 reps. It depends on the exericise but there are plenty of good all body routines to do at home with just dumbbells and a bench, maybe add an easy curl bar. As others pointed out you aquire an enjoyment just like running if…
