Supported my office co-worker in his plan to lose 40 pounds, created his MFP profile today.

Beer is just too good after a long hard ride on the trails, I consider myself as a drinker with a biking problem, not giving up either since they compliment each other so well.

Not being happy would do it, I'd rather be alone for life than miserable. I'm not for divorce at all but if I had to choose between letting go of my 20 years of marriage being unhappy over 40 more years of happiness elsewhere I'd go elsewhere.

Keep a record of time and distance at different exertion levels, record your HR for those and use them as a baseline for improvement. Example, run a comfortable mile, record the time and HR, on another occasion, record another mile at an increased speed and HR, continue to do this to your max HR over that mile, then do the…

Great miles everyone, shooting to break 450 this month, have increased steadily since the end of July, broke 400 last month and I'm at 300 so far this month, switching between mountain and road. Finished my first 100 miler this month and felt great, need to start earlier in the spring now that I've taken on road cycling.

I try to eat it all back but there is not enough time in the day. I probably should eat more because my energy level is pretty low all day; that or burn less. I'm usually at a net of 700-1000 calories below daily even with a goal of 2220 a day. Non-exercise days I meet the daily goal, heavy cardio days I'm sometimes 2000…
