I disagree on this. If I have a glass of water that I add Mio or crstal light packets to it is now probably 98% water and 2% flavor. I am counting that as water. Soda, no. When I have a powerade-zero after my workout to rehydrate, I count that. I know I would have trouble consuming as much water as I do without crystal…

Best thing is to go to a runners store and have them get you the best shoe for your foot. What is good for one person is not good for another. That is whhy there are so many shoes available. As you lose weight you may need to change shoe size and or style. Just my $.02.

I actually found several pairs I like at 5 Below. The go over the ear. I don't need my music to sound like a concert, so I go with the inexpensive ones. I have had a few pairs (even more expensive ones) die because I sweat so freakin' much. I just buy a few sets at a time and replace as necessary.

I have no weight equipment at home so I got this: You Are Your Own Gym: The Bible of Bodyweight Exercises Mark Lauren, Joshua Clark (less than $15 w/ shipping on amazon) I have not started any workouts, but the theory behind it is sound and proven. Nothing says you have to follow a DVD.

I do often. We have regular drives where I work, so it makes it easy. I hate the finger prick, and love the goodies they give sometimes. The red cross t-shirts are great workout wear!

I used it this morning for an hour, with the "level" at 11. Burned over 700 calories, heart rate in the 140s and there were puddles of sweat on the floor. I was pushing to keep my speed in a certian area. As someone said you get out what you put into it.
