Yeah, I'm definitely not spending my hard earned money for something that won't work. MFP is free and it works. Like, actually, really works. As far as curbing appetite - plenty of low calorie veggies, lots of protein, and healthy fats are a great way to curb your appetite. Plus you get to eat, so that's awesome too.

I need to get a bikini I guess. And work on my flexing poses, lol! Edit to add that I'm definitely not apologizing for the awesomeness that are my breasts. I love them and am super proud of how awesome they look. But, if I had hips, I would try to make those super awesome too. It's all about working with what you got to…

I log my miles on Nike as well. I change them out every 300-400 miles, depending on when I start to feel them break down. The general rule of thumb is 300-500 miles. I wear mine as casual shoes or outdoor work shoes after I retire them.

I eat a serving size, if I have room for it. If not, I say no thank you.

Yes, I still have a large chest. I'm not going to say "most women" because I haven't had a chance to interview all of them, but I'm guessing there are a significant number of women who are large chested, even at their lowest weight. All the women in my family carry excess fat on their bust, even at healthy weights. I'm…

What is unclean about veggies, meat, cheese, and tortillas???

So sorry you're bothered by the ladies here who lift. Personally, I'm proud of what I've achieved and the changes in my body from heavy lifting. I was definitely bulky before, but definitely much less bulky now that I lift. Current 1 rep maxes: Squat - 265lbs Deadlift - 295lbs Bench 115lbs

^This. If you're not happy with the definition, gain some body fat. But you look great and you should be proud of your body. If your friends are making you feel bad about how you look, you need new friends. And if it's strangers....tell them to mind their own business.

Sorry, but no. The only thing that causes belly fat is too many calories. Carbs intake can result in glycogen storage, if the individual isn't exercising and staying active enough to burn that off......but the actual fat comes from excess calories of any macro. I eat carbs all the time. I love them. They are fuel for my…

I actually prefer room-temperature water to cold. We keep a case of bottled water in the pantry and that's where I get it from. I'll drink it cold, but I would much rather have it room temp. Water is pretty much the only thing I drink. I didn't see the point in wasting calories on other beverages when there was a calorie…

Rest days are important. You should be taking at least 2 a week. You don't have to do the 30 day shred every day.

Definitely get properly fitted for running shoes at a running specialty store. Also, take a form clinic. Good form is very important! Most running stores offer them, or you can find some good info here: www.goodformrunning.com.

Exercise causes fluid retention in the muscles. They use the fluid to repair themselves (because exercise literally tears at your muscle fibers). It's normal to gain a little water weight when you start a new routine. Keep tracking everything, weigh and measure your food, and take measurements. Also, don't feel like you…

You can't control where you lose fat from first. We are all genetically programmed to carry extra weight in different places. There is no special diet, no special foods, no exercises that will target or spot reduce this fat. The only thing you can do is keep losing weight and/or reducing your body fat percentage until it…

Calorie deficit for weight loss. Running (and/or other cardio exercise) for cardiovascular health and fitness. Strength training for strength and "toning".

You have several days in your diary that you don't have any food logged. I would say that lack of consistency is where your problem lies. Also, stop counting your cleaning burns. Whether it's accurate or not, that's part of your lifestyle (which should be set as lightly to moderately active) rather than exercise. Log every…

But that obviously didn't work, or you wouldn't be starting over all the time. No cleanses necessary. Just start logging everything you eat. No food is off limits. You can eat whatever you want - you just can't eat all of it all the time. Think about this: they are making more every day. Assuming you have a little money, a…

Right now, I lift 3 days a week and run at least 3 days a week. I also take 1 spin class a week. I have one full rest day, so I'm often doubling up (run in the AM, then lifting after work, etc). At the end of the month, I'll start half marathon training and I will be lifting 2 days a week, running 4 days a week and doing…

Here's the thing: You've been given several ideas. You answer with excuses. If you want to get fit, you will find a way. You can do pushups outside. You can take longer/faster walks. You can do pilates on your front porch. Everyone has obstacles standing in their way - it's up to you to figure out how to get around them…

Well, I'm wearing it when I go running because I don't want to be abducted.....again.

This is mine: I prefer a sportier look. It matches my jogging suit:

Oh dear. Now I won't be able to sleep tonight. Someone hold me. Lol.

It's better when you put M&M's in it.

You are awesome and you look amazing! Cheers for lifting! And to the person above me stating these are different people.....sorry, but you're wrong (actually not sorry). This awesome lady is on my FL and I get to see her progress and changes regularly. She's worked hard to get where she's at.

I eat all the time. Because food is awesome and is fuel for my body. Just like my car won't run on fumes, my body won't either. And, weight loss is not like golf. Having the lowest number doesn't always mean you are going to win. It's not a race to see who can eat the least amount of calories. I need calories - I like to…

You can't control where you lose fat from. We are all programmed to carry & lose it differently. The only thing you can do it keep losing weight and/or reducing your body fat percentage until you are satisfied. Strength training will help with this - a lot.

Groupon has an offer for a $22 entry into Run or Dye. Just an FYI :)
