Being on campus is the best thing that can happen to you. That means you can plan your own nutrition every day. Pack a nice bag with fruits, vegies, and good proteins. Get a nice lunch box cooler that keeps everything cold. You can eat chicken and steak and nice fruits and vegies in the10 min you have to eat. Don't use the…

If you cannot run, I recommend walking on a treadmill at a high incline. Maybe 2.5 - 3.0 mph at 9% - 12% incline. Your heart rate will go up into the high cardio zone and it is very low impact on your joints. It also burns a good amount of calories! Good luck!

We would need to know your stats. Height Weight Age Hobbies Pets 1200 calories sounds very low for a male, even during weight loss.

You can't put a price on health. Cut out something else from your life to compensate if it's too much. For example, cancel your cable subscription to compensate. That is a win win because it keeps you off the couch and let's you buy healthier food. Also, not eating out as much helps as well.

If you are not 14' tall, you entered in your wrong height in inches. I'm assuming you meant to put 72" and not 172".

Eat 5 - 6 smaller meals throughout the day. That is one meal every 2 - 3 hours. A meal might be chicken breast and a piece of fruit. (protein + good carb) You will never be hungry. Oh, and cut 1 soda out of your daily diet per week till you are down to 1 a day. Cherry Coke is my demon and there is no way I am giving it up…

You can purcahse a scale that measures your water % and displays it for you. Very handy to see if your weight fluctuation is actually caused by water % increase or decrease. To get rid of it, you can cut sodium, cut some carbs, or possibly take a water pill if it's bloating. Good Luck

Day 19 is awesome. Nice work! Keep it up. Once the cravings are gone, it's smooth sailing as long as you have a good variety of foods and flavors in the mix! Thanks and grats on the progress so far!

I did something similar to the caveman and lost my first 10ish doing what you suggested. I usually eat around 5 meals a day protein, fruits, and vegetables. The first week, it was only protein and vegetables. No SUGAR! Dropped about 8 lbs in 5 days or so with normal weight lifting and some cardio mixed in. I know some was…

Someone needs a cheat meal worked in once a week. :-)

I might suggest doing some interval training rather than keeping it the same intensity for your entire workout. I like to start a a lower level and up it every 2 minutes until I hit the upper limits of the heart rate and then slow it back down. Rinse and repeat.

Hi! Welcome to the site. My suggestion would be to track you daily food intake as others have said. One thing though that I found important for myself was to get a food scale and weigh your food. You mentioned that you are used to big portions but you may not really know how many calories are in those portions until you…

Just keep the weight loss nice and steady at 2 lbs a week and your skin will likely tighten up as you lose weight. I'm sure there are some creams and such with Vitamin E that you can regularly apply to help your skin recover. Keep up the good work! I bet you'll be happy in the end. :-)
