  • Oh yes, many times. Not since I was a teenager though. One of the many stupid things I did as a teenager. Have you ever driven at over 100mph?
  • Haha, my sister scared the crap out of me once and I chased her and threw a couple pillows at her :p Have you ever had a fever higher than 104° ?
  • You are following about the same path trend I did. I steadily lost weight up until week 18, stalled for a little and then started steadily gaining. My personal goal for this pregnancy was to not gain more than 15 - doc wanted me to try to keep it under 20. I have gained 14 now and have 6.5 weeks left. I think my goal is…
  • I am sorry, bburg, that you have having so much to deal with. I can't sympathize on the blood pressure, headaches or vision and I am sorry you are experiencing that. But, I wanted to say I know exactly what the raised heart rate and difficulty breathing feels like. I struggle with breathing a lot! A simple walk from my…
  • What is that? I have not eaten for 30 hrs straight before. Have you ever done a 5000 question survey?
  • Nope. Cut it extreme though. It was so long I would sit on it when I sat in a chair. I decided to hack it off and it went to one inch long! Donated over 3 feet of hair to charity! Have you ever donated to charity?
  • False. Only peirced ears - no tattoos. TNP is over 30.
  • No, that sounds way fun. Have you ever wished you could slap your boss?
  • False. TNP is happy with their job.
  • Yes. Have you ever put life insurance on yourself?
  • I went through a couple pediatricians because of ill experiences and changed right when I was not happy. But, changing pediatricians is easier than an ob half way through a pregnancy. I commend you for doing so! Good for you! I am extremely grateful to this day I left the pediatricians and got a new one. The pediatrician I…
  • Haha, I have SEEN things that cannot be unseen! I have numerous stories! The worst is when my baby sister swallowed several thumbtacks and we were all assigned to keeping an eye on her and watching for various symptoms. We also got to take 'turns' searching the toilet when she was done to see if we could find thumbtacks. I…
  • No, unfortunately. While I could not care less about a pub, I can't even begin to tell you how badly I want to go to Scotland! Have you ever thrown a dollar bill in a wishing well.
  • Woot! You are awesome!
  • Depends on your tastes. A lot of people like the bone-in steaks. I do not. My favorite is sirloin steaks. Lately, I have been buying mostly the thin cut sirloin because it cooks in like 60 seconds and it's uses are so versatile. I use it in burritos, wraps, quesadillas, omelettes and so much more. I heat a pan really hot,…
  • I have suffered (truly suffered!) with the awful IBS symptoms for 8 years. Although, it hasn't even been a year since I finally figured out what was causing it. I kept internet and library searching and trying to diagnose myself. I finally sought a doctor 10 months ago and was given the answer. IBS with constipation.…
  • I have no interest in taking a prenatal class but really want to look in to seeing if they do hospital tours here. Though, I have to admit, it is interesting to hear the fascinating tidbits of info y'all pick up from these classes????
  • I am due June 15th. I found what really helps me is to stop and think each time I reach in the fridge - "am I really hungry? Thirsty? Or just bored?" A lot of times I will end up just getting a drink instead or closing the fridge all together and walking off to find a project.
  • 33 weeks. Due June 15th. Anyone can feel free to add me :)
  • I crave meat like crazy this pregnancy. At first I resisted, because of the cost of the steaks and such that I wanted. But, when I realized I was low on protein and the Dr told me I was low on iron - I gave in. I now eat a lot of meat and my protein intake is good and my iron is back to normal.
  • Did you get that second opinion? Or voice these concerns to your doctor? If not, either of those is a good idea. Let us know what happens.
  • Welcome! I am 33 weeks. Will send a friend invite. Eat healthy, drink lots of water, go on plenty of walks and be happy :) Don't start anything new. If you were a runner before, you can keep running as long as you are feeling up to it. If you were not a runner before - don't start now. It is so hard to resist all the…
  • I love that every response is the same - "I eat whatever I want." I try to make the healthier choices and avoid the junk. But, for the most part - I eat whatever I want! I don't count calories or track my eating either. I just watch the scale. I cut back a little if it is going up too quickly but as long as weight gain…
  • How did they know it changed between week 20 and 22? Do you do pelvic exams at every visit? I haven't even had a pelvic exam yet.
  • Wanted to add another little tidbit - for those of you that are close especially. Check to see if your insurance has a policy on how soon they have to have proof of baby. My insurance company says that - no exceptions - they must receive the birth certificate and SS card within 30 days of birth. My best friend, after…
  • I was induced for 'failure to progress' on my own. I had already been in labor for two days before going on pitosin and, my experience personally - it sucked!!! The contractions on pitosin hurt way more. I had been in labor for two days and never felt a single sensation I would describe as real pain - until the pitosin…
  • Has your cramping gone? My sister just got pregnant with her second and was cramping a lot. She ignored it at first but it continued constantly (never easing up even for a minute) and wasn't getting any better. I told her she should get checked, just in case. I am unsure of exactly what was happening (I should ask her) but…
  • I questioned the same thing when starting because in my life every day is different. There are days that I really am truly sedentary and then there are days, at work, where I am on my feet all day doing heavy lifting/pushing/pulling and more. I went with lightly active at first because I figured it was a balance between…
  • I never struggled with my milk supply with my daughter but also was eating/drinking normally after having her and not trying to lose weight. Thanks for tips, especially the liquids. I really have a hard time drinking enough anyways so I need to watch this!
  • I was never shy on this with my daughter and don't plan to be this time around either. I am respectful as possible, try to keep covered and don't really care too much if the blanket accidently slips - big deal! I couldnt actually care less about what the adults and strangers in my life think. My only concern is not…
