  • My children are 8 years apart but I appreciate being able to read all the different opinions here. I am debating having one more immediately following my current baby and then being done having kids.... Or maybe waiting 8 years again, lol Haven't decided.
  • No. Have you ever given yourself a shot?
  • True! So happy I can eat it again. Couldn't tolerate anything Mexican when I was pregnant! TNP likes sardines.
  • Yes, but not since middle school. Have you ever had a crush on one of your teachers?
  • I had my baby June 13th Still not getting enough sleep at night
  • Week 2 check in .... Total pregnancy gain: 27lbs First day home - day 6 postpartum: down 3 lbs Day 7/1 week: down 13lbs 2 week: down 21 lbs Currently at 6 lbs to go to prepregnancy. All water retention is gone, the rest is up to me. Goal was to get to prepregnancy by 6 week postpartum ... We will see, may not happen. I…
  • My husband did 8 years in the Army, he got released 2 years ago next month.
  • No, I wish. There are things I lost years ago I would still love to see again. Have you ever danced the macarena in public?
  • Never been. TNP wants lots of children
  • No, but watched my nephews do it just last year. Have you ever sheered a sheep?
  • Yea, but I can't eat more than 2 bowls of it. I am usually cocoa puffed out by the end of the first bowl. TNP had been more than 2 weeks without sex.
  • No, you wouldn't weigh twice as much even if you ate your twin. Your body burns calories when it is eating. To eat a whole person is an awful lot of energy expended in digestion. Sally, this doesn't even come anywhere close to the most disturbing thread I have read today.
  • False, I do have a hatred for dust bunnies though and those annoying buggers are always appearing under my bed. TNP is looking forward to the 4th of July.
  • Yes, rusty nail through my foot. Have you ever been told to organize tools or clean the copy room at work? (been given busy work just to give you something to do?)
  • My son, Jericho, was born on 6/13. He was 8lbs even and 21.5 inches long. He is currently over 9lbs and is 11 days old, he's gaining like crazy. I would post a pic here, but I have a few in my profile. I will just leave it at that. No longer a pregnant mommy and happy to be part of the post partum pack :)
  • I am really glad I never went and bought sports bras or nursing bras. I had every intention of buying some and planned to buy one size up from where I was (because when I had !y daughter, that is what happened - I was up one size while nursing.) I am now grateful I didn't do it. I didn't change size at all, all my bras…
  • I know where you are coming from! My baby's schedule is still not flipped yet - he is sleeping more during the day than at night. So after the frequent feedings, diaper changes, etc. I do my best to find some time to close my eyes during the day to keep my sanity but that is hard to do when you have older kids. I make it a…
  • Sometimes, putting the baby down, walking away and letting them cry is what you need to do. I have people get mad at me saying what I do with my baby is bad for him - I mock him. He cries, I imitate his cry. He whimpers, I imitate his whimper. He screams blood murder - I laugh at him and tell him he is being ridiculous. I…
  • False, townhome. Not too bad since we only have a neighbor on one wall and I love her. TNP does not like their neighbors.
  • Yea, I hate laundry! Just one of those things that I don't get along well with. I was so happy when I got married and my husband told me he prefers to do his own laundry and even happier when my daughter reached an age where she started doing her own laundry. I am already not liking how quickly my baby goes through clothes…
  • Yea, lived in Mexico for 2 months. Have you ever owned a tarantula?
  • That is ridiculous! Sorry, just my opinion. But that is a completely unrealistic expectation of a pregnant woman! Eat healthy foods, keep walking and put the scale away. When you go to the Drs office, request to not be weighed!! Do everything right and stop looking at your weight. The stress is worse for you than a few…
  • I am postpartum now. I ended gaining 27lbs total. My first weigh in after birth I was only down 3 lbs. 1 week postpartum, down 13lbs. Still had some water retention and very swollen feet at this time so I am optimistic that my 2 week postpartum weigh in I will be down a bit more.
  • How do you guys find time?! Seriously! My baby is 9 days old now and I am just now finding my first 1/2 hour of open time in a day where I can get on here and catch up. I don't know where you guys find the time in a day tonwash diapers!
  • No, and I have kissed a tortoise. Have you ever treated a cut or wound yourself that you really should have gone to the doctor/hospital for?
  • The further I got in my pregnancy and the closer I came to due date, I was wishing more and more that I had gone with a midwife.... until delivery day. Had I not been in the hospital, not had the medical technology to realize that there was a serious problem lurching and not been rushed in for a Csection just in time - I…
  • I thought pregnancy symptoms sucked! I am so done with this postpartum stuff. Especially the bleeding - yuck!
  • Well, I didn't get my VBAC. But, this experience was so much better than the last. The doctor was great and I didn't have any major problems. I am still healing and still hurting but it isn't as bad as last time. I am still feeling sad that a natural delivery is something I will never experience but am grateful for…
  • My daughter is in 2nd grade and is at a 3rd grade math level, 4th grade language arts and 6th grade reading level. She catches on to new concepts super quick and is very smart! However, she also has a fun sense of humor and is witty and fun - this has earned her the spot of class clown and she drives teacher crazy. She is…
