OMG!!! I love this thread! It is so hard to believe that the scale said 200 lbs. You look fantastic! Thanks for reminding us that what the scale says is just a number and doesn't tell the whole story! Great job and best of luck to you whatever your final goal is!:flowerforyou:

Have you tried Truvia? It's pretty good. Splenda has now come out with a natural sweetener too... it's called nectresse. I'm sorry the Stevia ruined your recipe!

If he doesn't…

That's great! I also think it's wonderful that you are gradually making healthy changes that will last a lifetime. Like you, I have a history of trendy diets--none of which ever kept the weight off, so this time I am going for lifestyle change rather than "a diet to get the weight off." MFP is really helping with this.…

Welcome back! I am a shy, very private person and fairly new to MFP, but I have really enjoyed reading the posts and getting inspiration from others...many times, the posts have given me the nudge I need to make healthier choices that day. I really love this site and hope you will, too! Good luck to you! :flowerforyou:

Congrats!!! So happy for you. It truly is an NSV ("non-scale victory" for new readers) when you don't have to worry about fitting in a chair or even breaking a rickety chair. Freedom from food obsession and food envy--Good for you!!! :flowerforyou:

Some ideas: veggie/cheese omelet; tomato soup with some lower fat ricotta cheese added in for protein; bowtie or other small pasta with your favorite sauce. Hope you feel better soon! :flowerforyou:

I hope Mr. Boss Man isn't sensitive when he gets sued for condoning sexual harrassment in the workplace.

I like to keep those 100 calorie packets of almonds in the car. At least then I am getting the protein to curb the hunger.

Hi Amy! Welcome! You are going to love this site! I just started myself about a month ago, and I have found that logging in everyday (even on the rough days when you fall off the wagon a bit) is the best approach. I love reading about other people's success stories and getting support from people who have transformed their…
