I keep mine open. In fact, I wish there was a comment section under my diary, where people could comment (or ask a question) if they wanted to. That would so speed up knowledge sharing and learning new perspectives, styles, etc. I don't worry about "negative" comments. For me, it is as easy to ignore those as blinking an…

In the least, you could have said, I lost the equivalent of my daughter (or something to that effect). I am afraid that there may be people in here, who were actually struck by real life tragedies and horrors . . . and this subject line will just be a rekindling of anguish for them. That being said, I laud your efforts,…

Thank you, all. I have to admit I am pleasantly surprised by the sudden increase in the number of friends I have . . . If you haven't added me, please feel free to check my profile (it is open), and feel free to send me a friend request.

I don't like how MFP doesn't count any of that effort toward my TDEE. (I don't suppose there is an easy way to do that.) Do any of…

This thread was pretty funny (and a very interesting) read. Sometimes, people ask questions because they want to hear what they want to hear. I know; I have been there myself. And, there is so much misinformation in the media, commonly held wisdom, and just wishful thinking. *Sigh!* I work out at home. But, without my…

Thank you so much for the very useful reply! I asked because I am very fond of SL 5X5 myself, and I have used it for both bulking and cutting. It takes me way longer to get any kind of result (I am likely more than twice as old as you, male, small built, ecto), but I lost 25 lbs. in the last 4 months on SL 5X5 and a…

Congratulations! Very nicely done. Would you mind sharing how long (in days) were your bulk and cut phases? And, what routines were involved in your "traditional weightlifting"? Thanks,
