I did it!!! (after Zumba which is why I'm so excited) distance - 2.08 miles time - 30 mins calories - just over 200 based on the treadmill numbers Day 1 - DONE!

It is amazing the difference a good pair of shoes can do. I have a problem with over-pronating, so I get shoes with extra stability that help correct that problem. Saucony has been my shoe of choice for a while and I probably go through two or three pair a year. Your shins will tell you when it's time to replace - at least…

Is there a specific date/week that we will be starting? Or should we just start it and post our progress with it?

I will be starting it soon - maybe as soon as tomorrow (today is Zumba). I have a 5K in April, and although I've done several 5K's, I've never run a full one (my best time was 38 mins and that was about 4 years ago).

My sister just sent me a link this morning with 55 snacks under 200 calories. I'm sure if you do a search the list will come up. My starting weight was somewhere between 215-216, this morning I was 212 - thats 3 pounds for me!! Very exciting!! Way to go everyone!

1-4 was able to do a quick 30 workout before work 1-5 got in a 40 walk - I wanted to sit on the couch, but my dog had other ideas

I'm a bit late in getting in on this, but better late then never: 1-2 I was able to get 20 mins of cardio and 10 of free weights in before work and took the pup for a 30 min walk after work 1-3 60 min Zumba class after work
