It always sucks to try and keep up a weightloss routine when there are so many stressors going on! :( But you said it yourself, when you're on track, you feel great! Just keep logging your food and possibly start trying to go on walks with the kids or doing something else fun and active. Good luck! :)

I think everyone is different. I also do NOT do well with harshness, unless it is from myself... I am REALLY harsh on myself, but that is different than an outsider. The perfect example, from my past, is football. We had a coach and he was really harsh... some people really took to it and were motivated, either out of…

Hey! I'm in this same boat. For the past few weeks, I've been doing this: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/556676_367676966619688_1910690009_n.jpg I'm on week 3 and yesterday I did the week 3 workout with absolutely no cheating or quitting. As a guy who does Zumba, I feel like a lot of guys are just can't get down with shaking their hips like a male version of Shakira :) haha. It's fun though, and definitely more enjoyable than spending an hour monotonously on an elliptical or a treadmill or something.

Look at how far you've already come, can't wait to see how far you go this time! :)
-
You can all add me! Let do this!

Don't feel like that! 99% of the people at the gym are so focused on their workout that they won't even notice what you're doing, the other 1% is you worrying about yourself, and you just have to get over that :D haha. Most important thing is just to start out slow and not reinjure yourself. The worst thing you can do is…

It's hard to work hard and not see any changes, or even worse, a change in the wrong direction. But scales can be finicky. I love seeing my weight drop, but mostly, I am going by the changes in my clothes. I'm sure if you're working hard and stuff, your clothes are fitting different. Some weeks, I'll fret and know weigh in…
