My SO and I met on Plenty of Fish, another vote for online dating...

I just Googled, that looks like an amazing climb, have fun!
-
LOL! I snorted at this, I hope I'm not the only one who gets it!
-
@orangesmartie sorry if you've already said, which mountain are you climbing? I love climbing!
-
That sucks! I had that for 6 months because I kept re-tearing the fibers each morning. There's a sock you can get that keeps your foot flat while you sleep. It's uncomfortable, but it works! I found mine at my local running specialty store, just an idea for helping heal.
-
That sounds so delicious!
-
Thanks! It was our first hike of the summer season too, so the only thing that kept me from giving up was my boyfriend was already at the top, and I was carrying his food. I ran out of steam at the beginning of the scree slope, so it took me probably twice as long to do it as it normally would have. When I finally made it,…

Confession: It was my sister's birthday this weekend, and we had ice cream cake for her yesterday. I just dug in with a fork once everyone else was done, and I regret nothing! I'd just finished a 6 hour round trip hike up a mountain with a 970m elevation gain in 31 degree Celsius weather and I was starving. I've been…

This is what I wanted to say, but I just didn't know how to word it. I hope that the pair of you can work together so you can get some of the things you want too!
-
I love bell peppers! I only buy them in season, they're out of my budget when they're not. Confession: I am definitely enjoying my evening glass of wine too much, but I don't feel guilty about drinking it because my boyfriend is also drinking (the beer I bought him). I feel mildly guilty for enabling him, but he drinks in…

@Susieq_1994, have you tried the Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare? If the Percy Jackson books are okay for you, that series might be too, and they're also young adult fantasy/fiction.
-
I'm glad he's doing okay now!
-
Good luck, I hope all goes well!

This is also my plan, and my workout room is in my condo, which sits around 28 degrees in this heat (I'm in Calgary), so the workout is going to be extra challenging on its own. Extra sweat never hurt anyone right? I'm thinking of hanging out at my parents house solely due to the fact that they have air conditioning until…

Thank you! I've been lurking for a long time, and promised myself I wouldn't start posting until I was completely caught up, which happened early this week

If there's a way to keep the caramel melted, you might be able to just get guests to spoon it onto already popped corn? My slow cooker came with what it called a "little guy", which was for sauces, that might work? Oh, and I found this on Google and now I really want some popcorn...…

Costco makes a caramel and cheddar cheese mix, if you can replicate those seasonings they'd be super tasty too!

I'm also a slow healer, but the bruising gets way less noticeable once the swelling goes down. Bone bruises suck!
-
Just to give you a frame of reference for that bruise, I got one of those playing rugby (I got kicked in the shin really hard), and it took 2 months for the swelling to go down, then another 6 months for the bruising to go away fully. Long process, but it will get better!

Confession: I have a glass of red wine each night because of the Facebook articles that keep coming up about the benefits, or so I tell myself. My boyfriend completely called me out last night and told me I'm just using it as an excuse to drink red wine every night, and he's right. I'm still drinking the wine though.

Same here, I've had cats all my life and I'm allergic, although only mildly. I use a prescription nasal spray and that seems to work ok, unless I get the cat hair directly in my eyes or up my nose, and that's why I always keep Reactin on hand for emergencies. I react to some dogs but not others, it depends on the type of…

Mine figured out how to open doors (I have handles instead of knobs), so now I have to lock the doors to my room and the other bathroom at night. The first time they did it was in the middle of the night, and I woke up to one cat walking all over my face and the other laying on my legs, which scared the crap out of me.
-
Sounds like we work at the same place! The worst part is the donuts weren't even that good, at least for me.
-
Wow, I was 30 pages behind on this thread! My confession for today: One of my bosses brought in donuts and I justified my hellish morning as a reason to eat two of them, as well as my regular breakfast and lunch. I'll definitely be going over today, as I plan to have wine with dinner tonight. I've gone over for most of the…

This one made me laugh, her responses remind me of how I reason with my little sister: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10157196/thermogenics-make-me-tired/p1

Like this? It's white chocolate, that's still chocolate right?
-
This is my cat, he's actually cleaning himself but it sure doesn't look like it.
-
True enough, I need to double check mine at home. I scanned the (Canadian) Kirkland bacon, and it came up with "Kirkland bacon-raw", but I didn't double check the package to make sure it was actually raw or not.
-
Are you using the raw entry for bacon? If so, I'd assume it accounts for the fat already, so I wouldn't count it a second time with the chicken.
