Great work ladies! @krok and jstout, 6MPH is my average running pace as well, I must be crazy too! @neon, way to get back into it, those numbers look great! @randomtai, awesome PR!! I was supposed to have a rest day last night, but I feel like my cardio has been lacking, so I did a 5km run. I finished 5.06 km in 31…

Ok here's mine, this is after a 5km run last night :) ETA: Won't resize for me, you get to see my tummy in all it's glory!

I'm mostly single (not a lady though) and I did online dating for a while, so I could see in the profiles if they had any/all of those things so I didn't have to ask typically. The job would be a deal-breaker for me, because I've had situations in the past where I ended up supporting both myself and my ex, and it wasn't a…

Great work ladies!! @fisher, thanks! I will update and have a major celebration in the gym as soon as I officially get that chinup! @red OHP is a huge pain in my *kitten*, it's my least favorite lift! It does come though, just slowly :) I did bench press at lunch today, my 5 week of 5/3/1. Warmup Sets: 5 x 45 pounds 5 x 55…

Awesome progress ladies! I'm back after a week's vacation in lovely Vancouver B.C., where I packed up my friend and moved her back home to be my new roommate. I still managed to find a gym and do some squats and accessory stuff one morning, and I got a few runs in, as well as loading and unloading her stuff. The guy I was…

I restarted lifting in September after a shoulder injury, and my working weights are below. Weight: 150 pounds Deadlift: 5 x 195 pounds Squat: 1 x 180 pounds Bench: 1 x 100 pounds OHP: 1 x 75 pounds ETA: My goals for this year are to be able to squat and deadlift 2x my body weight, to bench my body weight, and to get over…

@Neonbeige, it took me 6 weeks for my weight to start leveling out, before that, I was spiking all over the place! I would go from 153 to 156 to 159 then down to 151 then back to 155 etc. over a 4 week period, and my pictures didn't show much of a difference either. I was driving myself crazy, so I just ignored the scale…

The Strassburg Sock helped me immensely, and you'll probably be able to find it at a local running store. http://thesock.com/

My current favorite song for doing squats is Flo Rida and Pitbull, I Can't Believe It

Agreed, that's some fantastic progress!

That's awesome! Maybe there's a "carrying small child" exercise you could sub in? How about this one? Walking, carrying infant or 15-lb load

Anna, I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty :( It's so hard to lose a pet. Great workouts over the weekend ladies! I did deadlifts on Friday, my 3 week. Thanks! It's small changes right now, but I'm decently happy with my progress. If I keep up going at this rate, I should actually be ready to wear a two piece bathing suit out in public by the time it gets warm enough here (June-July).

Great workouts ladies! @randomtai, that's awesome! I agree with Krok though, take it easy on the squats :) @redheadmommy, congrats on that deadlift with the big girl plates! I remember doing a happy dance the first time I was able to lift 135 on them too, such a great feeling! @neonbeige, I'm seconding this, that's similar…

I did Stronglifts from January-March 2013, and I have to say, it's hard to do when you're in a deficit, but I love the program and I continued to do it until I stalled out on all my lifts and moved on to a more intermediate program. Here's a picture of my results, where I was eating at maintenance during the time I was…

Oh I never even thought of doing that for BP too! Thanks for the idea :)

Lol!

Congrats on the loss so far OP! Try the links below, they're full of good info: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1080242-a-guide-to-get-you-started-on-your-path-to-sexypants http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1235566-so-you-re-new-here…

5'3 and the same problem! The gym I like to go to has non-adjustable safety bars, so I put two 45 pound plates on the floor and squat on them, and they give me the extra inch-2 inches I need to not hit the safety bars. It took a while for me to learn how to place them properly, but now they actually help me with my foot…

Ok so this is my first time posting a progress picture in a while. Overall, I'm pretty happy with my progress, I'm now the same BF% as I was this time last year, even though I weigh 5 pounds more (stupid scale!) The bottom picture is from early January, where I was 29.2% BF and ~156 pounds, and the top is from this morning…

Hi ladies! I'm willing to share, I also have three men's teams in my club I can also use as eye candy. There are a few that look like that, they're pretty

I switched to Wendlers in January, and I've been doing a variation of the Triumvirate template. I switch up my assistance work every three rounds, and just make sure to pick a new move that works the same muscle group as his original template. He recommends 5 sets but since I'm cutting, that's too much for me, so I only do…
