same here, veggies! I went about 40 years barely eating them, now I just about love all of them.

I crave it all the time but I finally realize how it affects my performance at the gym. So when I do have junk food I will now eat much smaller portions, just enough to satisfy the craving.

moderation, moderation and moderation is the key. Try to have more sweet potatoes also.

I'm doing the same in being new on here like yourself, mainly focusing on calories then in a few weeks will start focusing more on the breakdown. I also signed up for a grocery store day field trip conducted by my health club. This will help me shop smarter and learn more about labels and ingredients.

Yes, non chain restaurants are very hard to track sometimes. I try my best to find like foods in the database and always choose the ones with the most calories figuring it's better to error on the safe side.

I'm on a calorie goal that loses me 2 pounds a week and I've been doing this since November. I have found I lose the most weight when I eat back the calories or at least get close to what I lost when working out. I tried for a while eating much less on days I worked out and I was maybe 800 or so calories under the net…

Geez, many negative responses out there. Don't let it change your mood. I have a daughter who just graduated from college and one daughter going in two years. I want my daughters to enjoy college and that includes the parties and such. I just ask them to be smart and do the same as yourself and have your friends look out…

I count only pure water. SOme people count tea, coffee and even soda. lol

The latest stuff I hear is that when you eat or if you eat many small portions versus a couple of big meals does not matter. I'm sure this is still highly debated. :)

I don't think you need to count calories the rest of your life. I've only been counting calories for 5 months now and I have a pretty good idea on my own on how I'm doing with my net colorie goals. I intend to keep counting until I reach my weight goal and a little after that since my net calorie goal will change since I…

I've been able to do much better by gradually cutting it out. I've tried the cold turkey way before then I found myself going on "I don't give a SH@T" binges which was worse off for me. I have cut down to fast food to one or twice a month, I only keep much healthier snacks in the house, I have converted to dark chocolate…
