Just don't use a smith machine. I don't know why these exist. They control the bar path for you, but it does not mean it is suitable for the way YOU squat. If you find this is your sticking point, you might want to work on the triceps. It is that part of the movement - a few inches off your chest - where they engage in the bench press. Aigre that's a decent run (congrats) - it's not surprising you were hungry if it was a 'low' day. Lifted yesterday - shoulder not 100% so was a bit meh. Still, got it done. Well, my sister still hasn't had a baby and I'm flying back home today - boo!
