  • MFP's default protien level is pretty low...I went over every day too until I upped it to many's reccomended 40-30-30 (carbs, protien, fat) and since then I have NEVER gotten to my protien goal. But I'm doing my best.

  • You can eat whatever you want if you stay under your daily goal... do this ALL the time.
  • And also, it helps me to not think about what I CAN'T have, but more about what I need. As in, yeah I want that brownie, but I NEED to eat some more protien today to get to my goal, so I eat some cheese instead. Don't think of what you CAN'T eat, think about what you all that you SHOULD eat.

  • 2 lbs a week is the high side of healthy weight loss (and that's only if you have alot to lose)....so if it is 9 weeks from now, you should probably only lose 18 lbs safely. Real weight loss is a lifestyle change, it's not something you do for a particular event.

  • If you already know, WHY DID YOU ASK? If you want to fake lose weight, don't drink water and don't eat salt, and go to a sauna. Not healthy and not a real way, but knock yourself out.
