yes high BP and high Cholesterol can be due to genetics. Some people no matter how they eat or what they weigh will still have high BP and high Cholesterol. Fortunately I am still able to get my numbers down with proper diet, exercise and keeping my weight in the normal range.

I love flounder. I like to put fresh squeezed lemon juice on mine and some fresh pepper. Also try to bake it in the oven with fresh rosemary. If I"m out of fresh lemons I'll just sprinkle on some lemon pepper seasoning before I put it in the oven.

Took me 5 months to lose the first 50 pounds and then things slowed down. Took off a total of 80 so far. Only consistent exercise I did was 2 walks daily. Now I use weights, walk and ride my bike.

Do you weigh and measure everything you eat or are you just eye balling it? Chances are your eating way more than you are actually logging. Also besides watching the scale take your measurements. Just when I think I'm not making any progress I'll see that I've lost inches.
