  • Awesome job! Keep up the great work!!
  • Married 5 years this May 12th...together for 6 this past January. A wonderful hubby, friend and daddy. He's helped me through two miscarriages and the death of my daddy....and been the best dad to our almost 22 month old son. So lucky to have found him....on the internet!!
  • 17 pounds is a great loss! You keep up the good work and you won't have a big *kitten* scar from gastric bypass surgery!
  • They are probably using whole wheat tortillas and I really like them. If you must have a tortilla, I think those are the way to go.
  • I don't have as much trouble as I used too, but anytime chocolate chip cookies are nearby....they are so hard to resist. I think I could eat 15 without blinking an eye. Add me as a friend and we can help each other learn some self control. Good luck to you.
  • If you like cottage cheese, take a 1/2 cup cottage cheese with a tsp or two of honey. YUM! I add strawberries to mine and it is fantastic!!! I have also tried it with Splenda instead of honey and it's good that way too. Less Calories with the Splenda!
  • You can do it....and the others are right...you got up and did something and every little bit counts. I remember when I first started trying to lose weight in 2009, I kept a log and weighed every day. I didn't notice at the time, but once I hit my goal, there was one month where all I lost was 1.5 pounds. In an entire…
  • Go for a brisk walk outside in the sunshine....sun feels fabulous on your face and you will forget your troubles.

  • Welcome back and good luck on your journey. Feel free to add me....I just hit my goal today, (YAY) but have now made a new goal....about 5 pounds to go.
  • I usually eat back some of them and have been losing at a steady pace. Plus, if you eat too few calories, your body goes into starvation mode and you don't lose anything that way. You've gotta eat to lose as crazy as that sounds.
  • Fantastic for you! I try to take the stairs as much as possible at work and sometimes get some coworkers to come along too. Keep up the good work.
  • Great job! But you could look a little happier about it. Fantastic accomplishment!
  • This and Nightmare on Elm Street....we actually did live on Elm Street when he was a Liar, Liar and Unfaithful! HA! At least I have a sense of humor about it now.
  • I am 5'5". My highest weight was 180 the day I gave birth to my son. I got down to 140, gained a few pounds around Christmas time and am now down to 133. A friend at work told me just today that I look like I have lost a ton of weight, but it's just been the 10 pounds. I am hoping to maybe get to 125, but not sure if I…
  • I don't know why you would think anyone would not want to be around you because of your weight....you are beautiful....it's okay to keep a little bit of distance from people, but you may be missing out on some great friendships/relationships if you keep everyone too far away.
  • Sounds like a break up to me....but with the way she did it....you are better off finding someone else. That showed no respect for you. Sorry.
  • Good job on the weight loss! I have had lower back pain for the past 12 years or so and never got any relief until I started seeing a pain management doctor last year. I received several injections and stopped sleeping on my stomach (I know, not good anyway) and decided to lose a few more pounds. I walk/jog on the…
  • I'm wondering how many calories you guys are allowing yourself per day to have 1000 left at the end of the day. I get excited to have 250 calories left where I can have a scoop or two of low cal chocolate ice cream...or a piece of cheese and a few crackers. I would love an entire bag of chips ahoy cookies and a big glass…
  • My new favorite snack is 1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese, tsp or two of honey and sliced strawberries. Perfectly yummy. If you are worried about snacking on the weekends....do your workout first thing in the morning. That way you have added yourself calories for the day and you might find you don't even need them all for…
  • Even though there really isn't anything I can do about this, I worry more about the crows feet and gray hair than I do my boobs or booty. Men are going to like what they are going to like. I never worried about a man's "mini me" much....too big was alot worse than not big enough.

  • I am 5'5"...my highest weight was 180 pounds, when I delivered my son. My first goal was 140, which I hit...gained about 5 back and now want to be 132...but 125 is looking pretty good....I haven't weighed that since some time in high school...many moons ago.
  • Definitely communicate. And....pick your battles. I actually got mad at my husband one time for not folding and putting away 3 shirts and two pairs of shorts. W hat the heck was that about? I apologized and decided....he's a great husband and father, what difference does it make if he didn't know where that stuff went? And…
  • I went out with a friend last night and had four sliders, onion strings and fries. Only reason I feel bad is because my stomach didn't appreciate it. Nuff said. Tomorrow is a new day...get back on track and forget about it.
  • Cheating....anything you couldn't do with your spouse/significant other right there with you. I have been cheated on by my ex-husband. It sucked royally...guess he had the seven year itch. Obviously, I could not forgive him or he would not be an ex. I have since forgiven him and we are now friends to a point. He remarried…
  • OMG this sounds fabulous. And I get to go grocery shopping tomorrow, so I am definitely getting what I need for this! Thanks.
  • Lifting weights is a great way to help you meet your goals. I'm only about 5 or 6 pounds from my goal and once I hit it, I plan on doing strictly weights to maintain. Maybe throw a day of cardio in once or twice a week. Lifting weights makes you feel fantastic, especially when you realize...hey, these are too light....I…
  • I think if you want pizza....have a slice, or two....just fill the rest of your plate with veggies or salad. And two girl scout cookies never killed anyone. Have two with a tall, cold glass of skim milk....then go back to your healthy eating tomorrow. I would never survive if I never had another piece of chocolate or bowl…
  • I just bought my first size 6 jeans yesterday. I was so excited. I still have 5 pounds to go until my goal weight, so I can't wait to do more shopping. I am afraid that once I hit my goal and those size 6 clothes fit perfectly, that I may not be able to stop myself from continuing to lose more weight. For the longest time…
  • Count me in!! 5'5" here too.:flowerforyou:
