I don't drink soda, but if I have tea or something like that with no calories I still log it. I try to log 100% of what I eat/drink. It's great to look back on my diet and I can analyze it if I'm not losing or I can see what I saw doing at a point when I was losing more.

I'm 294 lbs and 5'11, my goal is 160 lbs. I'm eating 1900-2200 calories and steadily lose .5 - 1 lbs per week.

BMR is basal metabolic rate. It's the amount of calories you burn by just being alive. :) And eating the extra calories does help, because you need to be eating enough. But the lower calories may be working for you.

People always pronounce my last name wrong, mostly because I have 2 silent letters in it. I'm 5'11.5 and at the moment I'm 292lbs and my goal is between 160 and 170. I've never weighed that little from when I can remember so I don't know where I will feel most comfortable.

My next mini goal is 290, which will be a total of 25lbs lost so far. I'm only 2.4 lbs away from that, so hopefully I'll be hitting that soon. And then after that, my goal is 275. It's been almost 5 years since I weighed that little.

Honestly, I don't have a specific size that I want to be. Mostly, I just want to be healthy. Plus, I've never been small, so I have nothing to compare it to. In my adult life, I have never been below an 18. I'm getting close now, down to a 20.
