I would like to join! I began seriously trying to lose weight April 9, 2018. I started logging all my food and working out. So far I have lost 37 pounds and I am so proud. But I have slacked off in the last 6 weeks or so and lost very little. I’m ready to step it up again and lose some more. I will log in the morning after…

So happy to find this challenge. I began April 9 with logging again and I’m ready for a challenge. Trying to change things up before I plateau. My weigh day is Tuesday. So my husband and I spent 4 days camping at a motorcycle rally. There was much much drinking and a lot of snacking. Coming home and starting clean today was actually a relief. I found myself looking forward to not drinking today. This gives me some piece of mind. My father was an alcoholic and I have wondered many times…

I am in for June. My goal is to drink only on our vacation. Even then I plan to moderate.

I was af 27 out of 28 days in May. I had to rearrange my schedule when my grandchildren were placed with me after my daughters problems, but I'm not trying to use it as an excuse. I can find a way to keep the workouts in there it just takes a little more planning. I did lose weight this month so as long as it's going in…

The last week has been filled with major family stress (my daughter relapsed on heroin) that could easily translate into an evening drink to "calm my nerves". I have had nothing and remain AF, for 33 days now. Certainly it makes it easier to deal with all that's going on to be sober and clear-headed so why, in my mind,…

Thank you everyone. I definitely see a difference in my life and in myself in general. I do not plan to start drinking again, maybe not as strictly, but I do not want to be a daily drinker, not ever.

Today is 30 days AF for me. I feel so proud of myself.

26 days AF. I am trying for 30 days and last night was really difficult. Went out to dinner for date night and on the way there I knew I was feeling tempted. I told my husband I was feeling tempted and explained that some of the people in the group just moderate and next thing I knew I almost had myself talked into having…

April 9 was the first day I was alcohol free. So if I did not have those two drinks on April 20 I would be 30 days alcohol free right now. But I guess technically I have to wait until May 20. I am feeling victorious though because I probably haven’t gone 30 days in over a year. When I was trying to lose weight last year I…
