Welcome :flowerforyou: Though I'm not new, I'm wondering the same  And I love MFP, too :drinker:

Try drinking a big glass of water and see if that helps you out. If it doesn't grab a 1/2 cup of almonds, peanuts, walnuts etc (if you aren't allergic of course  ) Nuts are a good fat and often help to curb your hunger. Also, protein is a good filler. Hope I was of some help  :flowerforyou: Teresa

Hi there! Since H2O expands when it freezes I'd guess you'd be good with estimating them being about the same. Have you tried putting lemons in your water? I have a hard time drinking my allotted amount if I don't stick some lemon slices in it :) My favorite is crushed ice, water & lemon  Hope I was of a little help…

Well, now that you have successfully avoided one issue (dogs that bite), beware of another...wrecked knees! It is amazing that you get to walk/jog/run in the mountains, but just be careful running DOWN. This is what can put a huge strain on your knees. We want you to be able to continue your morning intervals, so be sure…

I'm not 5'7" or 5'8", so I hope you don't mind me posting  My current weight is 169 and I am 5'9". I, too, was blessed with a lot of muscle. It has been frustrating always being tall and "big boned", because I always thought I had to be rail thin to be happy. Silly me! People have always commented on how shapely my…

Just a piece of advice...be sure that you are weighing yourself on the same day of the week at the same time of day. That is probably the best way to get the most "accurate" reading...it has worked for me at least
-
That certainly wasn't an appropriate thing to say...insert foot in mouth is right! I'm thinking he was feeling bad about himself and needed to put someone else down to feel better :noway: To heck with him...you are doing a great job! Keep it up!!! :drinker:

I teach 4-year-old Kindergarten. They can be a handful, but it is fun. I used to think that I had to sit down and have snack with them. Now I straighten the book shelves, get things ready for an upcoming project, etc...anything to keep me busy and free from snacking
-
Welcome! I've also been here for about a week and I totally agree with you. It really makes me think about each and everything I eat. I find myself eating things more for nutritional value than just because I like it. When the kiddos are having snack (I'm a teacher) I'm not tempted to have a little of whatever they are…
