I usually read more fantasy than sci-fi, but thanks to a science fiction focused English class I took in college I discovered most of the classic authors already listed. But here are some others; Philip K. **** is one of my faves. Hollywood likes him as well but his books are def. better than the movies. [Do Androids dream…

I agree with all of those. I also have 2 campy/horror/B-movies that are just funny; Satan's little helper, and Killer Clowns from Outer space....

The weight limit is actually 600lbs. It will only measure up to 330lbs, but if you can trick the sensor you can use it to play all the games [put a towel under it, use foam etc. (there is a video on youtube that shows you how to do it)]. Just ignore the weight tracker portion until you get to the point where you can use it…

I have been losing weight through diet alone [although I do plan on working out]. I do have some health issues that limit what I am able to do so I understand not being able to do anything. I don't have many friends on here, but I do log in everyday, so if [any of] you need support/motivation feel free to add me.

Fort Minor's Remember the name really gets me motivated. Songza [internet radio] has a lot of work out mixes that are very motivating.

My name is Kristy and I started MFP waaay back in February [2012], (although I didn't start using MFP regularly until this summer after I got my sister to join). It took a little while for me to figure some things out (my biggest problem being that on the day's I did not work I was only eating once a day: either too little…

I love that some of the special game collections will include the Soundtrack as well. Nobuo Uematsu is my all time fave for composers (he composed all the music for the Final Fantasy series - up to 9, so basically all the good ones.) Anyone ever visit Overclocked [http://ocremix.org/]? The site is "dedicated to the…

I've been playing Wild Arms:Alter Code F for PS2 (it's nice to see the differences from the original) . I love that my PS3 plays all my older games (not that I've gotten rid of my PS1 or PS2). And the Wii store has older Nintendo games, so I've also been playing Super Mario RPG, and Secret of Evermore. I also like the Star…

Sephiroth, Genesis, Cloud & Vincent [from FF7 Crises Core/Dirge of Cerberus]; Dante & Vergil [from Devil May Cry]; Basch [FF12], and Fenris [DA2].

I agree this does sound like a bone spur. Definitely go see your doctor. I kept putting it off when I only had symptoms in one foot, and as a result developed it in the other because of how I adjusted my walking. So now I have heel spurs and plantar fasciitus in both my feet. I've had the cortisone shots and paid for the…

If you tell yourself you will fail, you will. But maybe if you treat this as a way to get healthy (heart healthy) and not focus so much on the weight you'll be able to see the small successes that lead up to the big ones. Set little goals and work towards them. I had the same attitude as you for awhile after I hit a…

My people, I have found you! I have always been a sci-fi nerd thanks to my dad and older siblings. Buck Rogers, Lost in Space, Dr. Who, Star Trek, Star Wars all things I watched when I was younger. No one has mentioned Stargate or Andromeda?!?! Mutant X was also not a bad show. Of course good sci-fi is hard to come by on…

In the past I lost weight (~40lbs) keeping track of my calories only (until I stopped and gained it all back and then some). So this time, I've been doing the same. I'm a picky eater, so I don't always satisfy the carb/protein/fat requirements.
