I usually get grilled shrimp, salad and broccoli. Of course I have a biscuit

This! I bought a cheap bike at Walmart in May. I have had a good time pedaling the neighborhood with the kids and burned some calories. Total Win- Win.

My fat sizes are 12's. I want to wear a bikini and not look like a cow. I want to be the skinny friend in the crowds I hang amongst. I want to be able to scarf up all the small sizes left in the clearance rack.

I joined years ago. I started last month. It took me that long to get pissed off to take the matter into my own hands and stop relying on doctors to figure it out.

Ugh, these kind of posts are insulting. Not everyone is here because they overeat, binge eat, or obsess over food. I don't have any of those issues and I gained 40 lbs in 6 years. I was a size 4 or smaller until I was in my late 20's. I have often skipped meals, ordered kids portion meals, and just ate fairly healthy. I…

I have always ate like a bird. So far today, I have had a yogurt with fresh strawberries and blueberries for breakfast. Lunch was 3oz of baby carrots and a wrap with ham, cheese, mixed greens and mustard. I have also had 6 glasses of water. Roughly 550 calories and I am stuffed. My pm snack is grapes and blueberries,…

I have some 900 calorie days through the week, but I make up for them eating out another time during the week. Yesterday I ate 800 calories of good food, and my ice cream on a waffle cone put me way over my 1200 allotment.
-
I am pretty sure this is the only reason I have a need to be on this site... My stupid love of ice cream.

I struggle with this. I drink coffee with milk and sugar. I loathe fake sweeteners. So I am trying to cut back to one spoon of sugar for 16 oz of coffee. I tried not drinking coffee on sunday and the headache was so not worth it.
-
I cut white bread out 3-4 months ago and have not seen a difference it yet. I cut out sodas a year ago and lost nothing from that either. I am weaning myself off sugar in my morning coffee now, so we shall see if that helps. The only thing that seems to be helping is eating a mostly fresh fruit, veggie, lean protein diet.

Yeah I don't log the exercise and no it is certainly not hours and hours. Maybe an hour if I am lucky. I started may 8, so almost 6 weeks ago. I lost the 8 lbs all in the first 3 weeks, and then have hovered between 149-151 since. I am not even close to achieving the results that mfp gives when you complete your daily food…

Looking at my goals, at 1200 calories, I only have a deficit of 490 calories a day. Don't I need 500 or more a day? Also, the only time I can't move is while at work. When I am home, I move. I have two kids, three dogs and a cat. I am a single parent that has my kids 100% of the time. The work is never done.
-
The only exercise I log is my fitbit which automatically syncs with my fitness pal.

If anything I overestimate my calories. If I enter an apple but actually eat only half, I leave the calories for the whole apple. I log my coffee as whole milk and sugar but I use 1% and no sugar. I build in room for error if that makes sense. Thank you for your insight.

I am currently 149 lbs. at 5'3" or 5'4". Not really small. Well not as small as I was 6 years ago. I have a desk job. I walk for about 15 minutes when I get to work, walk 15 mins at lunch and then some in the evening with the kids. I try to do something physical like mow the grass, swim, or ride bikes with kids.
-
I don't enter food into fitbit, just mfp but it looks like 1300 if I add what I have already logged into mfp and how much fitbit says I have left to eat.
-
I order kids meals most of the time. With only having 1200 calories a day, I have to keep meals at a total of 300-400 calories. I choose water, grilled chicken and salads, skipping dressing most of the time. I like the McDonald egg white delight and parfait, but I only choose one not both. I am only allotted a 1200 calorie…

I agree. I would rather have real sugar then fake sweetener. Plus the fake stuff has a really gross taste. Water is more appealing than that aftertaste.

Wow that's great! I just got a fitbit flex but I have yet to get in 10,000 steps. Hopefully this weekend the rain will stop and I can get some walking in.

I have very similar diet choices and the 1200 calorie diet is working for me as well. I fill up on smart choices and I rarely feel hungry in between meals.

Hi, I am 35 and trying to lose about 30 pounds. I have lost 7 since May 8 and want to keep this trend going. I log daily. Please add me if you have similar situation.
-
My goal is 27 lbs, which may turn into 30 when I get close to my current goal weight.
-
I last saw 100 lbs around the age of 20.

We eat at chick fil a weekly. I either get the market or Cobb salad with vinaigrette dressing, only using half. Or I order the kids 6 piece nuggets, fruit cup, unsweetened tea and I trade my toy in for the kiddie size ice cream.
-
I order kids meals and lunch portions if I am allowed to, but restaurants rarely serve a half serving of a dinner dish. I eat very few leftovers so throwing out works for me. Of course do whatever fits with your dining style but wasting food allows me to maintain a nice body shape.
-
If I am overindulging at a restaurant, i wont want the same meal again before it goes bad so I might as well let the restaurant discard. I also rarely eat leftovers so I attempt to only cook the portion size we will consume at that sitting.
-
In my experience, those that are afraid to throw away food will overeat and as a result are much heavier. I have never been bothered by throwing away half a meal at a restuarant or whatever I know I will not be consuming. Part of my plan to get back my body is to adopt the habits I had when I was skinny. I will be throwing…

I ate a Dunkin Donuts bavarian creme donut on Wednesday. Tonight we are going to my favorite mexican restaurant. I plan to get my favorite not so low cal meal.

I can't wait to shop for small clothes again. I used to love clothes shopping and when I got fat, I began to dread needing new stuff. I literally can't wait to clean out my closet
-
I was super skinny until about 5-6 years ago and I still pick clothes up that are way to small for my current body. I wonder how it will be when I get back to a small size again.
