I'm open as well because my bloodwork was fine. And yeah, it was how I felt when I chucked caffeine (I still drank tea I just stopped consuming massive amounts of energy drink so I went from HIGH caffeine to regular Joe levels) so I'm willing to accept a mental aspect to it rather than purely physiological (although…

I'm not a low carb newbie though... I literally just said I wasn't getting much added/refined sugar in the first place and that I keep my carbs below 150g -normally around 120g honestly- and have done since approximately forever. Like, I don't have a super-duper low carb diet a la Keto people but it's not like I went from…

I cut out added sugar for the month of April to raise money for charity and felt absolutely TERRIBLE the entire time. It never went away (my body didn't "adjust" after a couple of weeks or whatever). Now, I don't eat a *lot* of added sugar but that whole month I was shaking, incredibly tired (despite, yes, still eating…

Yes, this as well! When I started ballooning from the drugs even though I was eating as I had before (given I was 125lb at the start, this was around 1700 calories for maintenance but in reality we now know my maintenance at that weight would have been 1500...) and then wasn't losing the weight despite dropping my cals - I…

I think that some people don't believe CICO "works" or, perhaps, that it's the only factor that need be considered because they tried it and it didn't work. Or rather, to be more accurate, was perceived not to work. If someone's "CO" part of the equation is massively off from where it ought to be - after trying all the…

Yup! Everyone suggests it as some sort of replacement for milk chocolate because there's no way you could want to eat as much of it and it's just "oh, my sweet summer child I have much self control around 99% lindt as I do a bar of dairy milk"
-
No but I mean it isn't "so rich" that I feel sated after a few squares. I have the exact same reaction to eating dark choc as I do milk choc. No difference. At all. None. Exact same thing. There is no such thing as "overkill" with dark chocolate because I really genuinely love dark chocolate. I'm no more capable of taking…

I'm convinced people who say this just don't actually like dark chocolate because I am every bit as capable of eating a whole 100g bar of that in one go as I am of milk chocolate (and every bit as incapable of stopping myself from doing that, so I don't buy it)

I applaud you. I super don't have the patience so I only do it once a week (on Sunday, when I'm varying shades of hungover) Day 14 (14/6): Steps 17,291 // Miles 8.51 // Cal burn 862 // 2hr 40 // Walking + 20 min elliptical + 20 min kettlebells

I'm still at 163.5. It's actually been completely stable 3 days running which is unusual for me. Expecting a drop aaaaaany day now.

Having to do the same as last week and manually calculate because yesterday/today, again, I went out and stayed out (until 6am this time) after my 8 mile hike, so a lot of steps/miles from "yesterday" are counted under "today" on my fitbit Steps 38,511 // Miles 18.87

Haha! I've always walked everywhere. I can't drive (never had a lesson, and lived in major cities all my life where it's unnecessary anyway), cycling hurts my hips, and I'm too cheap to pay for the (admittedly great, because city) public transport. If it's less than 5 miles each way, I'll just suck it up. Got a nice…

Well, I was hovering and bouncing above that for a while, but 164.3 as of this morning. Weird, as I went HARD at the gym yesterday and fully expected to be retaining a ton of water weight and be up a couple lb but *shrug* That's probably gonna happen tomorrow, now I've said that. I've gone and cursed it now.
