Aw, what a craptastic commute morning! I hope the rest of your day goes well. And yeah, I'm not sure how I do it either. The ground is solid...you build things on it...it isn't supposed to move! I remember a 5.5 struck when I was in my office building (4th floor) and it was a very wavy one, everyone felt a little sea sick…

I'll definitely report back! And...I honestly don't know what the different is. I thought Black Drama sounded cooler and it said "new" on the package, so I went for it. I don't know what it advertises that it is able to do. I'll find out when I use it today! I was using Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion (the purple…

Associated Press is reporting that police have found 200 to 300 deceased victims of the Sendai tsunami. Article: http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/top/all/7467646.html :(

Oh that is MUCH better! Happy Friday! :)

If you made the soup yourself, you should use the site's recipe feature so you can plug in all of the ingredients you used to get a more accurate calorie reading on what you're eating. Don't give up! :)

tango, I'm in LA and I can confirm that time estimate, at least from what the local news channels are telling us. The beach closest to me (20 miles away, Santa Monica) is supposed to be hit at 8:32 this morning.

Tsunami is working its way onto the Hawaiian shores now. You should go to the Hawaiian news live feed to see the footage: http://www.hawaiinewsnow.com/Global/category.asp?C=176904

Really interesting listening to Dr. Dan Walker, the tsunami advisor in Hawaii. He said there was a similar event in 1933...an 8.4 magnitude off the coast of Japan which caused tsunamis to hit Hawaii, and the 10th tsunami wave that hit Oahu was the largest, and that wave came ashore about two hours after the first one…

I'm 20 miles in, so I'm not worried about the wave since I'm not in a beach community. It's the whole waking up of a sleeping giant thing. There's been A LOT of seismic activity around the globe and it just gets me all worked up. You'd think growing up here I'd be used to it! How's your Friday so far?

The Hawaiian live news feed is reporting that the wave patterns are starting to change. The water seems to be retreating and the waves that are currently coming on shore are not as big as they were an hour ago.

This article was posted 14 minutes ago by Reuters: http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/11/tsunami-philippines-idUSSGE72A04B20110311 Hope that helps.

CNN is saying currently 40 reported missing and 40 confirmed dead. I also know that Tokyo Disneyland has guests evacuated from buildings and sitting in the walkways/pathways outside of the attractions and the guests are staying in the parks overnight. Disney has been giving them ponchos and disposable hand warmers, as…

Thank you for your reporting, weaklink. I've caught the insomnia bug, and am watching CNN on my TV and the live feed from Hawaii News Now on my computer. I'll take over for you.

*yawn* It is 3:30A here and I should be sleeping, but probably won't tonight. All kinds of jittery over the devastating Japan event. I'm in Los Angeles and we're waiting for a .5 meter tsunami to hit in about four hours, and I'm not worried about that, just more nervous about the reminder of the rocking and rolling that…

Very good point. Nature will do what it wants to do, when it wants to do it, and we have no control over that. All we can do is hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

The situation in Japan is heart wrenching and I am in shock as to the video footage that is coming out of the tsunami area. It didn't even look real - I had the hardest time comprehending that this was actually happening and wasn't a Hollywood-made special effect. My thoughts go out to everyone in Japan; I hope that in…

With all of the crazyness that comes with the final countdown to your wedding, the last thing you need to worry about is that 3 pounds in your way. Get that bride confidence flowing and enjoy your engagement photo session! Your big day will be here before you know it and you're going to be radiant.

nolachick - of course I go to Walgreen's and they're out. Phooey! Last time I was there I was on a mission for nail polish, so even though Comfort Zone was there, I didn't get it. And I discovered that even though Rite Aid carries Wet 'n Wild (and currently has a buy one get one 50% off promo), they don't carry the 8-color…
-
Yeah, I'm thinking I'm gonna stop by Walgreen's tonight and see if I can get my hands on Comfort Zone...I NEED that brown/green definer duochrome!

ashley - The challenge you and your hubs are doing together is great. You're gonna smoke him! Bru - aahhhh, ok! You're a cheap date! :P And LMAO…

WTG, Bru! I remember doing something like that when watching a movie on TV once. It's a great plan! What are walking planks? So today's weigh-in day for me...I'm up, 171.2. I was really hoping to get into 160world, but I guess that just wasn't in the cards for me this week. My inches are down this week, so, thereyougo.

You look great! That red bikini is meant for you.

Before I go and catch up on everyone, I just wanted to let y'all know that I did a whirlwind of spring cleaning in my closet today and therefore have 11 dresses, 2 tops, a coat, and a puffy vest (think Marty McFly, "hey kid, whad'ja do, jump ship?") that are up for grabs! I've taken pics and will post them, along with…

Oohh, that's a good one!

Lent = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lent I haven't figured out what I'm going to give up yet. Maybe being lazy, or procrastination.

I wish I had some awesome advice for you but I dunno! Does your hair dryer have a "Cool" mode? Maybe do a blast of the cool air from your hair dryer to the peepers to see if that dries the liquid liner?
