You'll do it, April! Have you ever tried any of the gel nail polishes? I got a Gelish manicure and it lasted - NO KIDDING - 3 weeks. It wasn't until the 3rd week that there was a chip. Yeah it was grown out but other than that it was practically perfect. And it dries in 3 minutes. Literally. Amazing product!

I am so the same way with OPI vs. China Glaze. I always thought the name China Glaze sounded cheesy, or like something that would describe a plate set. But I just LOVE the formula...and the price! You must take a look at their Anchors Away spring 2011. There's only like, one or two colors in this collection I'm not…

I went and took a look at the doc and you're definitely there. Chantal too. Yay! Wow, heart problem huh? :( Take care of yourself. Sounds like you're too stubborn to let medical problems get you down! That's a good things!!

*****H20 Seriously Sexy Seven Pounds Weigh-In Log***** Here's how it is going to work this time...if you want to be a part of the weigh-in log, you'll update it yourself on the googledoc spreadsheet that I set up. No log-in is required. You just need to follow this link, which I will re-post every week, and I've also added…

I'm not coordinated enough to be a ninja, and I'm damn good at drinking...so a pirate's life for me!

Happy week 2, H20! Another fantastic OP, April. Thank you! I'm feeling good about the challenges this week, especially because I'm doing two of them tonight! Homemade meal - check! I made mushroom chicken and noodles and it cost $2.50 and clocked in around 600 calories...it would have been lower if I was making a…

I'm sorry I haven't been in here to give everyone the attention they deserve! I don't know why but I can't shake the mopes. Been applying for jobs so keep your fingers crossed for me...there's a little indy candy shop that needs a PT person and c'mon, doesn't working with candy sound sweet?! (har har). Spent a little bit…

Aw Molly, while the new SW is a little disappointing, it just means what when you've reached your goal you can brag that you've lost that much more weight!
-
You're so smart! I never thought to look for a meditation app for the iPhone. I'll have to give that a looksie! April your new picture looks great. You're definitely making positive changes. Kattungen, you just have to find that sweet spot with your calories. You'll find it!

Finally got the battery in my scale replaced. My SW for the challenge is 175.4, which unfortunately is 2 pounds up from my Christmas challenge end weight. SW - 175.4 GW - 168.4

Laziness...not kicked. Breakfast...a few sips of coffee. Not a stellar day so far. Need to fix this!
-
I think I may be in the same boat as you, with family being a part of the problem. I too need to work on the approval seeking.

So frustrating! Gah!

The Valentine's challenge is up and running! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/145625--h20-seriously-sexy-seven-pounds-of-valentines-day-week-1

Yaaay so happy to have us up and running again! Something I'm going to cut out...laziness. It has really creeped back into my life since the end of December and I need it to not become my norm. A fault I need to work on is self confidence. I've never been one to think highly of myself and while I take pride in my victories…

I think it could be fun if we found a way to split the group in half for a little competition. Team A vs. Team B. At the end of the challenge, whichever team has lost the most amount (or percentage, if we want to do it that way), "wins". Or, hmmmm random idea just popped into my head and I don't know if we have enough time…

I know Summer, thanks. My main problem with MK is that I don't use it. My heart belongs to brands like Bare Escentuals, and I've found in my past retail experiences that if I don't love what I'm selling, I'm not very good at it. But I'll definitely hit you up if I wise up!

Haha...ball rolling before it drops...clever!

Final weigh-in... SW: 180.8 CW: 173.4 (+0.4 lbs. this week) GW: 168.8 TOTAL LOSS FOR CHALLENGE - 7.4 of 12 A small gain after Christmas and just before TOM? I'll take it! Usually I'm up at least a pound before that wonderful crimson tide rolls in. I got more than half way on the challenge goal, so that makes me very happy.…

Feeling oddly Eeyore today. I updated my goals on here and my calories were cut down by about 100, which I wasn't expecting but after I thought about it and realized why that happened, it makes sense. I think a big part of my problem is realizing I need to go back to work. I'd quit my full time job in April and we thought…

Hope everyone had a fantastic holiday! Since my last Wednesday weigh-in, the scale has gone up, which suuuuucks. :( Took my measurements and since I started keeping track (March 2010), I've lost 21 inches! That's just too groovy. Looking forward to our Valentine's challenge!

A Muppet Christmas Carol (My most favorite EVER!! ) Bad Santa Elf Scrooged A Christmas Story Christmas Vacation ("Hallelujah, holy *kitten*...where's the Tylenol?") Love Actually Christmas movies are the best!

Chantal you have done a phenomenal job! *bow*

SW: 180.8 CW: 173.0 (-1.0 lbs. this week) GW: 168.8 7.8 of 12 So I've averaged about 1lb loss a week. I see that as a success, even though I won't be able to make the 12lb goal.
-
Wow I'm a thread killer, huh? Today's my normal weigh-in day but because I only got about 2 hours of sleep last night I didn't want to hop on the scale as my body didn't get to process the day's intake, KWIM? So I'll way Thursday morning. Hope everyone's had a great Wednesday!

Welcome to MFP! This place is fantastic. Best of luck with your goal!

Fajitas would be a delicious choice! Also, what about a broth-based soup like albondigas or chicken tortilla soup? Since you're going to have worked out so hard earlier that day, and it is Christmas, don't worry about treating yourself a little. Enjoy a few chips. Have a small margarita. Live life a bit.

Definitely, Summer. We've got a plan in place for a couple different scenarios. If she ends up coming over I'll have plenty of wine and jewelry building to keep her busy. :D
