  • I was told by the ultrasound tech, that the same hormone that causes heartburn also causes hair growth. If you are having a girl you can think of all the super cute hair bows. Maybe that is just me, but that is what made it a little more tolerable. I just kept thinking it was her adorable hair growing. Lola did come out…
  • These are amazing. They taste just like wine. I have had about every kind and love them. Brut taste just like Moscato. The alcohol isn't completly removed, so you can't have like 10. The pharmacist said that a whole bottle has the alcohol content of about 1/4 of a normal glass of wine. You can actually buy them at Hy-vee…
  • Add me, I can for sure relate.
  • Agreed! You should be able to talk. If you can't talk you need to run slower or interval train (walk/run). Couch to 5k isn't for everyone. Maybe you need to do it slower. For example run week 1 twice. If you are running to where your chest hurts and you can't talk you aren't burning fat anymore. I am assuming your primary…
  • It should be noted, I am not pregnant now. I am working on baby #2 and trying to get myself in the best starting place possible weight wise.
  • Eat your excervise calories. So you are right, 1250 + 250 (excercise) = 1500 total calories. I don't make myself eat if I'm not hungry. I do try to eat some of the excercise calories back though. I figure if not I can kind of bank them for my cheat day every couple of weeks.
  • Thanks for the brand suggestion. I have an expensive one from both Scheels and ****s Sporting Goods (I guess MFP thinks I'm cussing), but they weren't enough on their own. Oh the problems of unconventional runners. I will try Anita and see if it works better for me.
  • Yeah F is 2 sizes above DDD. I don't think they make swim suits with sports bras in them, like they do with underwires. If htey do I would love to know where you can buy them. I double up on bras when I run. Normal one then sports bra over the top. Just if you do that in the water it wouldn't dry. Good plan to get a tri…
  • My husband and I have recently got into biking and I love it. We usually average about 12-15 miles a night. We are like you, if it rains we stay home. We do a gym workout also, this is kind of our us time. We have a cart that hooks to the back for our baby girl, so lots of times we stop and let her swing in the middle of…
  • I have several pairs of these and love them. Actually they just started fitting again after baby Whoot! Whoot! I don't mind when they ride up a little as long as I don't feel like I need to pull them down so my jiggly parts aren't hanging out. They also prevent heat rash from your thighs rubbing on longer runs or hot days.…
  • It helps with Acne, but that is about it I think. Red light therapy is a thing you can get done at the Dermotologist and I have had some good luck with it. Similar to when your skin improves when you tan, you just don't get the color. The motion hurts my knees, so it isn't for me.
  • Diet soda makes you hungrier. There has been many studies done with kindergardeners the idea being they are less conditioned than adults. They give half diet pop and half regular pop and then are left alone for X amount of time in a room with readily available food. In study after study the half given regular soda consumed…
  • Are there any rules other than eating your normal calorie burn 5 days a week and eating 1/4 your calories burn two other non-consecutive days?
  • You may be pregnant. I don't test positive on the home tests until about 3 months in. Just has to do with your hormone levels. Trust me I was testing like every few days toward the end with my first. I was just so excited. Nothing to be worried about though, baby girl was born healthy with no issues/concerns.

  • Check your BMI/Fat %, weight isn't always a good indicator. You may be putting on Muscle and loosing fat. Gaining weight isn't always bad. I have a withings scale that calculates that or those hand held things are pretty reasonable as well.
  • My husband doesn't really cook either. He has a few really good staple recipes, but they aren't the healthiest. I can't imagine he would ever make me dinner that I am allergic too, that seems like another issue. Chicken is close to as cheap at ground hamburger and way better for you. Expecially if you buy the bulk frozen…
  • These are the five recipes I started with, they are all different enough to keep you from getting bored and super good. http://www.doctoroz.com/videos/joe-cross-juice-cleanse-recipes I loosly follow this diet plan now. I do 5 juices, small lunch (like greek yogurt & Blueberries) and meat and veggies for dinner. I just…
