Well said, man! Well said indeed.

That's HUGE buddy!

Agreed...then again, I always had that problem. Now, it's just more pronounced!

I miss being my own heat source! I'm cold all the time now!

I was suffering from severe sleep apnea at over 350 lbs. I had just taken a job in a new department and got caught sleeping on the job. I was lucky I didn't lose my job that day. That was one of the final straws where I had had enough.

I would have to stop and look for a moment (and smile). Never can let a pretty lady go unnoticed! :flowerforyou:

Very well done, dear! :flowerforyou:

I'm from the outskirts of Omaha, NE. I'm here everyday as well. Add me if you would like.

109+169 lbs for me = 278 lbs total!

Heaviest - 351 lbs (estimated, but first official weigh-in when I started) Lightest - 182 lbs Current - 183 lbs Goal was 200 lbs and I passed that on 3/12/12. For those of you that are still trying to reach your goal, it CAN be done! Good luck!

Call Me Maybe. I mean, really? We can't come up with better than this? Will someone just call this moron so we don't have to hear this song anymore, if anything, to tell her to just stop and go away?

Eliminated regular soda (had briefly gotten rid of all soda, now it's an occasional diet soda), drastically cut my portion sizes and started with simply walking a mile and then built up from there. According to MFP, to maintain with a 5x/week workout, I should have a net of 2250 calories/day, however, I find that I gain…

I started on April 25, 2011 at 351 lbs, diabetes, sleep apnea (with a CPAP), high blood pressure and could barely walk a mile. Today, I weigh 182 lbs, no diabetes, no longer need a CPAP, normal blood pressure, a resting heart rate in the mid-40's and can run over 5 miles at a shot! Never thought I'd be able to say that!

Chicken Fried Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Gravy. I can count the number of times on one hand I've had it in the last year and a half, but it tastes so good when I do have it.

My epiphany moment occurred while I was drinking a can of Pepsi at work and I suddenly thought to myself, "I can't go on like this and this needs to stop NOW! I could lose my job (falling asleep at my desk due to sleep apnea) or, more importantly, my life if I continue down this dangerous road." That was on April 25, 2011…

@ahoneybadgerf You look ABSOLUTELY STUNNING...especially in that black dress! :flowerforyou:

Always a pleasure!

I've been in your shoes, buddy. I know how you felt about people staring at you and being "that funny guy with a great personality" and hoped they would look past the physical appearance. Congrats and well done!

It's a tie between redheads with glasses and a Southern accent. If I get the trifecta, ooooooh boy!

I'm here! :flowerforyou:

There are exceptions to this. For example, my phone doubles as my MP3 player, but I never answer my phone or texts during my workout.

^^^^^^^THIS!^^^^^^^ I say, if you've got it, flaunt it!

A MUCH lighter and MUCH more confident dad! Father of a 4 year old boy. My job is a sit-down job, but I'm very fortunate to have access to a fitness center where I can go workout on my lunch hour. I lost 162 lbs within a year and I'm currently in maintenance mode 5 months after that point, but still down another 6 lbs…

You look great! Well done!

Great job! You look incredible!
-
Well done! You hit the nail on the head with the majority of your points as well. I know this struggle all too well myself.

Woody Harrelson...why do I feel so dirty now?

Looking back, I probably would've had more success answering the question, "Which foods DIDN'T make me fat?". Probably my main culprits were fast food & soda.
-
Very nicely done! You look fantastic!

I resisted Godfather's Pizza that my boss brought in today for lunch. As much as I wanted to have that for lunch, I stayed away because I knew my workout today was going to be hell.
