I use Nike+running.

I log absolutely everything I eat and drink, even if it is supposedly 0 calories. The little bit of calories here and there can add up by the end of the day. I'm sure that people could easily be consuming an extra 100 calories a day and not even realize it.

I'm one of those people and I think it mostly has to do with the vanity sizing. I'm 5'3" and when I started my journey, I was size 18 and 214 lbs. Now at 122 lbs., I'm a size 2 in most stores and even bought a pair of dress pants in size 0 this past weekend. I find it absolutely ridiculous that even some XS clothes hang…

You never let me wear your cape to bed. :(

I adopted a greyhound 3.5 years ago. Is yours also a retired racer?

You look fantastic!

I was off for March Break this past week so I decided to do doubles (normally I run 5km 3X/week and 1 long run of either 7.5km or 10km once a week, and do 1 level of a JM video on my non-run days) . Here's how my week looked: Monday: 5km run + Killer Abs (Level 1) Tuesday: 30 Day Shred (Level 1) + Shred it With Weights…

Coffee itself is fine - people run into trouble if they drink multiple cups a day with tons of crap in them. I limit myself to 1-2 coffees/day and I drink it black, but I have to sweeten it with either an artificial sweetner packet or a tsp. of sugar.

Getting multiple sizes is a good idea. I use 20 lbs for anything two-handed (ie. kettlebell swings), 15lbs. for anything one-handed (ie. squat and press), and 10 lbs. for anything insane (like Turkish get-ups). I do have a 25lb. kettlebell which I haven't progressed to yet.

Mine has fortunately pretty much completely disappeared since I lost all of my weight, although I can't say if it's from the weight loss itself or from running, or both. I don't care how or why it happened, I'm just glad that it's gone the way of the dodo. However, I just wish it would have brought its friend, loose skin,…

Killer Abs - "You would never think this is too easy. Because that would be inviting the devil - and the devil would be me".

5'3" SW: 214.5 (July 2011) GW: was originally 139.5 (July 2012), then 135 (Sept 2012), then 130 (Nov 2012), then 125 (Jan 2013)... CW: 122.5 (March 2013) New UGW: 120 - and I'm staying put here!

I'm 5'3" and currently 122.5 lbs. I usually eat around 1500 calories/day on weekdays and 2000 calories/day on the weekends and exercise a minimum of 30 minutes pretty much everyday. I'm eating lower this week (around 1300) because I'd like to get down to 120 lbs. by my 35th birthday in 3.5 weeks.

My supper consisted of: Tuscan tilapia fillet Organic quinoa and wild rice Spinach, blackberry, goat cheese, and almond salad Chocolate Vitatop for dessert

I'm 5'3" and I keep re-adjusting my goal weight. My original goal was 139 lbs, but I wasn't happy there, so then it became 135lbs, then 130 lbs, then 125 lbs, and now that I'm 123 lbs., my new goal is 120 lbs. However, I'm pretty sure that 120 lbs. will be my ultimate cut-off.

5'3", 123 lbs. and I wear size 2/4.

I enjoy running alone because I consider it my 'me' time (I turn on my iPod and ignore the world), but I do like to run with a buddy as well especially when training for races. Except for races, I haven't run with a group since high school, although I've contemplated joining the Running Room.

Add me to the Lululemon junkie list.

I was always a healthy weight and I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted (although I was always active/athletic) until I became pregnant at 23. I had about 20 lbs. of extra weight left after he was born and instead of working to take it off, I slowly proceeded to add about 5-10 lbs a year to it by not being active and…

I think you misinterpreted my post. I eat 7-10 servings of fresh fruits and veggies every single day, whole grains, raw nuts, fish and chicken for protein, etc. but I have one 200 ml. mini Can of Diet Coke with supper and something like a Rice Crispie square for dessert (that's my 20% junk).
-
I've had great success with my weight loss and I think it's because I haven't cut junk completely out of my diet (that's why I don't crave). I still eat junk, but in small portions and only if I have enough calories left after eating all of the good foods. I pretty much follow the 80/20 rule - 80% healthier foods, 20% crap.

What concerns me more is that people are commenting "Great day!" or "Keep up the good work!!" on people's diaries when they have only eaten 900 calories for that day and that 900 calories consists of nothing but a bowl of chocolate cereal for breakfast , a granola bar for lunch, and a bag of chips for supper. I try really…

I enter them as circuit training.

I usually run 5kms three times a week and 10 kms once a week. I've vowed to do at least one 10km race this year, but the problem is that I'm uber competitive. If I run 5km, I'll likely finish top 3 in my age group, but if I run 10km, I'll likely only finish middle of the pack. What a conundrum! LOL!

This is my first (and last!) weight loss journey. I started on Weight Watchers Points Plus in July 2011 and it worked well for me as it's how I lost half of my weight. I switched to MFP in Feb 2012 just because it was free and I find it easier to track calories than it was to keep track of WW points. I've also kept up a…

When I was a treadmill walker vs. a runner, I read that by holding onto the rail that you're losing 25-30% of the calories burned from the workout. However, I was hesitant to let go because I felt like I was going to go flying off. What I did was kept the incline jacked up (10-12%) but lowered to a more manageable speed…
-
I didn't notice any difference when transitioning from the treadmill to the road and I'm pretty much the same for speed and endurance. On the treadmill, I run with the incline set at 1.0 which is supposed to mimic a normal outdoor terrain. I just strap my iPhone to my arm and use the Nike+running app. to keep track of my…

I'm a firm believer that if you eat it or drink it, you log it.

Just make sure that it's endorsed by Dr. Oz.
