I buy alot of my fruits and veggies through a program called bountiful baskets. Go to bountifulbaskets.org (org not com). You should try it if they are in your area. It is awesome and way cheaper than the store.

It doesn't matter if I eat fast food or eat at a sit down place. I usually will look at their website a head of time so I know what I can have. I also order all dressings on the side and no mayo etc on anything. I have learned that a sqeeze of a lemon, lime or orange can be just as good as those fattening dressings. I also…

Make steak fajitas. I use green & red peppers, lots of mushrooms, onion and 1/2 of a lawry's fajita mix. We do not like to eat alot of carbs so we dont use tortillas. we just eat it plain. You can even add some lowfat mozzerella cheese. Enjoy!

I would just ask them to go light on the oil they cook it in.

I like apples and peanut butter. Or sometimes a few crackers with a cheese stick. I always try to drink 24 oz of water with my snacks. This helps keep me full. I also like the drink "define 8". I buy it at Max Muscle. It helps a ton with my snacking. There are alot of flavors so you can find one you like. Most max Muscle…

One of my favorite is Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal - 8 oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk 1 scoop Max Pro Chocolate protein powder from Max Muscle 1 Tablespoon Peanut butter 1/4 dry quick oats 2 packets of splenda 1/2 to 1 c ice This is about 375 calories, around 40 proteins and 25 carbs aprox.

A healthy way to make veggie dip it to take plain greek yogurt and mix in a little ranch dip. That would be yummy with your veggies. Try tossing big chunks of zuccini, onions, peppers, whole mushrooms in a gallon size zip lock with a little olive oil and some garlic and salad supreme. Then wrap in foil and place it on the…

I think I just figured it out. sometimes you have to be smarter than the codes. Go to tickerfactory.com create your ticker (it is very simple). Then copy the bbCode and paste it in your signature. I pasted mine on the line below my current signature.
-
I think I figured out how to add the new ticker. Now lets see if it worked....nope it didn't I will have to try another way. Finally figured it out. have to use the bbCode not the HTML code.
-
Ok I have created my ticker, now how do I add it to my MFP profile?
-
OK I am in. My goal will be 200 miles. This is just what I needed to get me back on my bike. Let me know how I check in.

Whenever you feel hungry, drink 20 oz of water and wait 20 min. if you are still hungry eat a small snack and then drink more water. Water and a few crackers usually will fill my belly for a while. Good luck and try to work on not going overboard with food whenever you see the scale drop.

Change up your menu a little and change up your exercise. Sometimes our bodies get used to what we are doing and we have to switch things up. Good going you can do it.

I actually took sliced roast beef and light swiss cheese and rolled them together for a quick breakfast on the go today. It was actually very filling and only 220 calories. Also what about laughing cow cheese spead on a few wheat thins, apples or celery with peanut butter. what about trying a plain greek yogurt, sprinkle…

If it works for you do it!! Just know that even if it is not 20 lbs per month, it will be something and losing something is better than losing nothing. Would love to see your diary choices. I would like to try it and see where it leads me....
-
Your diary looks really good actually. I was just thinking the same thing as the others. Eat more often and maybe add some peanut butter, nuts or advacado. Also make sure you are getting all of your protein every day. That is important so your body can repair itself. Other than that it actually looks really good. great job.

Ok I have tried my shoes for 2 days in a row now. Yesterday I just wore them for 30 min while I did the eliptical. This was fine. Today I wore them for 30 min on the eliptical and then ran in them for 1 mile. My lower calves are definately a little sore as are the muscles across the top of my feet. These will take a while…

Celery is always a good one. Very low in calories. Any veggies that are low in calories would be a good snack like cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower etc. And drink lots of water.
-
I know you mentioned to me that your goal is to drink 32 oz of water a day, but if it is water weight you want a jump start on then drinking water is the key. For my weight, which is similar to yours, my nutritionist said I should be drinking 125 oz a day. Since you can't exercise right now, water should be your best…

My suggestion would be to go into a running store and get fitted with a shoe that fits your foot properly. I started doing this a few years ago and now I don't have near as much problems with injuries. Now the secret....Once you find the shoe that works for you, go online to zappos.com and you can usually get it cheaper…

I try to just eat about half of my exercise calories. This way I get an added benefit if I do exercise.
-
For me it is between 7-11 hours too. I swim for 2 hrs, bike for 2-4 hrs, run 2-3 hrs, weights 2 hrs.
-
I think your notes are right on track. I do try to limit my carbs in the evenings, by eating mostly protein and veggies. When I do this, I lose weight, when I go back to carbs in the evening and sugars, I gain it right back. So I think that is the trick for me. Good luck.

Triathlons are a very addicting sport. I got involed with them several years ago thinking that only skinny people could do them, but tsoon came to realize that anyone, any size can enjoy the sport. It is all about YOU! Good luck on your upcoming 5k race. I too am doing a triathlon in about 90 days. I know you can do this!!!
-
how about adding in a good protein drink, mix it with milk. That would give you some good calories. You could have a couple slices of cheese, and a few crackers too.
-
Try adding some lemon to your water. It is a dieretic (? on spelling) and can help with that. I also drink hot lemon water and find that to help as well. When I drink it hot, I sqeeze the lemon into the water before heating it up. I leave the slice with the rinds in the water as well. This way you get the good oils from…

Good luck...Never quit....If you fall down, get RIGHT BACK UP!!

I agree with those above. Get yourself a George Foreman Grill. Whenever I cook them frozen I use it. When cooking from a frozen state, it really seals in the juices. Heat it to about 360 degrees, then put the chicken on and close the grill. I flip mine over after about 7-8 min. They are always really juciy and moist. One…

If I was to cook squash, I would cut it in 1/2, clean it out and bake it for about an hour at 350 degrees. I would then season it with some spray butter, cinnamon and a little splenda. Or you could season it with a general low salt seasoning that you like. I can't remember if these have alot of carbs or not, you may have…
