Sometimes aspartame gives me headaches, sometimes it doesn't. Drink what you like, eat what you like. My clean eating friends scoff that my diet includes processed food. Because *gasp* [insert chemicals! etc] - they would never eat such things! It's annoying that people feel like they can comment on what you consume. I…

Mixed Greens, creamy ranch/Caesar, croutons, shaved Parmesan, fish, portabella mushroom caps, chicken breast, various veggies for stir fry, buffalo wild wings sauces, goldfish crackers, la croix, and mini drumstick ice cream

Trying shopping for women's jeans not having perfect proportions. Currently, I have 5 jeans from the same store... relatively same cut all same size - only 2 fit.

lol...

I never knew having pineapple on your pizza was so odd. I thought everyone loved it!
-
I don't think you need to message them. If you prefer having more active friends, then get rid of the ones that aren't doing what you need. No wrong in that. Everyone is here for their own experience, some want more inclusion from others, some like minimal.

I also rarely take a complete day off. I get too fidgety and start driving my boyfriend and dog nuts haha. I lift heavy 4 days a week. Run long 2 days a week, and use Sunday as my active rest day - with an easy 3 miler. Just listen to your body - if you feel like you need a complete rest, take it, otherwise just keep…

Another person that loves the same toppings?! <3

I'll agree with BBQ - that's just wrong IMO. But I will say, if I randomly have a slice I enjoy it. For whatever reason, the thought of it makes me cringe. haha

Don't be so hard on yourself!! Many people are able to view food as fuel, but I am not (aside from the obvious of it being such). I view at as something I enjoy tasting, doing, smelling etc. I don't love fruit, in fact, I barely eat it. I do love veggies though. It'll be trial and error - try new things constantly. Prepare…

But seriously. Pineapple, jalapeno, mushrooms, and black olives. Load it up. I'm happy. NOM NOM

I happen to love pineapple on my pizza. And just because I'm a member of said cult... it has nothing to do with pineapple on pizza. Shameful.
-
There is nothing that I don't appreciate or love still. Pizza is like a food group to me. Although, wine used to be a food group - but I rarely drink it now.. usually pick vodka. haha. I hate kale. If that counts?
-
I read it.. and oh my word. I considered this a few years ago. Thank heavens I never did.. EEK!
-
You do you. Eat what you want to eat.

Don't be scared! Kudos to you for getting yourself there. That's usually the hardest part! Take your time, ask for a tour so you know where everything is. Don't be intimidated. Everyone there is likely working towards the same goal - overall health/wellness/fitness etc. Have you worked out before? If so, start with what…

What don't you like about it? It can be extremely rewarding and accomplishing if done right. Of course, I despise cardio like a bowl full of raw kale, so I get you might just not like it. Just curious if there is a reason that might be fixed/resolved? ETA: Great work on your success so far!! That's awesome!

Just to add - you definitely don't have to lift with female only. I've had several male lifting partners - and it's been a great experience.
-
I LOVE to lift too. Squats are my favorite!!

I tried this several years ago, took advice from a friend. While the soup doesn't taste bad, I really like cabbage - holy heck did it go through me. Moral of the story - it's not sustainable. You're restricting your calories, it doesn't have much to do with the combination of food your eating. But if nothing else, try it…

I'm sorry y'all - I didn't mean what I said in a way to downgrade any of your contributions. I was just trying to explain that people are willing to go out of their way to help someone with questions and aren't hiding anything from anyone. But that's not to say you are hiding anything from keeping your diary private or…
-
Fair enough  I definitely, agree with being able to discern good advice from bad. I've learned a lot from the forums as well, and I contribute some of my success to that advice and veteran members I learned from. ETA: I've amended my original post.
-
And to add further - when someone is genuinely asking what successful people have done, they open their diaries, or break it down. People hold themselves accountable here, at least the people giving sound advice. There's no cloak and dagger BS going on. ETA: I am in, no way shape or form, downgrading or criticizing…

But people DO say that. I've seen very few people claiming they've cut out ALL "junk" food. Sure, if you're getting tips from a self proclaimed "clean" eater maybe. But the vast majority of people who give advice on this board, literally say... I save room for it in my macros, I budget my calories for it, I fit it in, I…
-
I think it's less comprehensible, for some, that people willingly choose to eat healthy over eating foods that "taste" better (b/c there's no way healthy food tastes better than "junk" food ::sarcasm::). Think about it, before we found MFP (pardon my massive assumption, speaking more indirectly to myself), I, at least,…

Everthing Bdubs!! I had a few too many adult beverages one evening, spent like 50 bucks on sauces! haha.
-
Aside from the homemade thing - I'm sure you've seen it in stores, Nestle offers the brake and bake sheets of raw cookies. They also offer tubs. I'm not really the best cookie maker, so this could be why I'm more inclined for those... guaranteed to be delicious! Fast and less messy than baking them! You can definitely…

That's fantastic! And what I was trying to say, maybe healthier would be a better word. :) Kudos to you for all your hard work, it's inspiring

I think you summed up the ideal outcome for many on here. I think that's what the goal is isn't it? Develop a good/healthy relationship with food. Eat what you would like and things you love, but still fit it within your calorie goal and move on. ETA: Ideal outcome in regards to food/relationship. Making the assumption…

I've finished whole pizza's before. #noshame, but they were like under 12 inches. And after a long run, with having a massive amount of calories left for the day... no shame. Also, ever hear of Blaze Pizza? It's a fast fire chain - you can eat a whole one for less than 700 calories... no joke! (Depends on toppings) I also…
