I read something on one of the boards sort of on this topic. Seems when folks lose a lot of weight people ask what they're doing. Then when they reply with the only thing that works: Diet and Exercise... the people lose interest. Here's my solution: When it starts to become obvious that I'm losing weight I'm going to start…

Hello! I joined MFP three weeks ago, I've lost 15lbs and I've had fun doing it. I'm 33, born and raised in Iowa. I married a fantastic man on May 1st of this year. He's very supportive and encouraging. I work very long graveyard shifts at a boring job so I'm always fighting boredom cravings. I love making friends on here.…

My mother in law made this for my birthday cake. It was awesome! The texture came out more brownie like. And the cake was flatter than a regular one. But it was great! Everyone loved it. I added whipped Betty Crocker frosting. Thank you SO much for posting this!

Have you tried setting up snack times in between meals? Like a 10 am and 3pm snack?

Grill it with Fat Free/light Italian dressing: I make a foil "Boat" and toss anything I have veggie wise, which is usually Yellow (or regular) Zucchini, purple onion, broccoli, and mushrooms. I season it with whatever and put a couple tablespoons of Italian dressing on it. Mix it up really well and plop it on the grill.

Monday: 96oz I also think I deserve a star for not drinking diet soda OR iced tea. I'm trying that this week too.

Bored eating is one of my big problems. My job has a LOT of downtime. Since I've been on track these last two weeks I've started allowing myself something every two hours. Even if it's just a 50 calorie applesauce or a baggie of celery. I read that eating every two to three hours boosts your metabolism anyway! So far it…

Hello new friend :o) I joined MFP a while back but I just got serious about 2 weeks ago. I'm down 11lbs already! I love the idea of having friends who understand 100% what we're going through. Especially, and I doubt I'm alone here, since I've always been the chubbiest in my life. I look forward to being part of this for…

I challenge you to make us a challenge!

It's quite a change from high school days of wanting to be part of the skinny girl cliques. I also look at the tickers. Not to judge, but maybe to avoid being judged? I think it's fantastic to have a community of folks who understand what it's like to be, as my husband calls it "Chubby Extreme".

I've always said that I don't like to label meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) heehee. I work 12 hour graveyard shifts. My day starts between 4 and 5pm so those are my 24 hour cycles. Due to life not typically happening at night, I often have to flip my schedule when I'm off work. What's working for me now is just keeping my…

I think that a LOT. At least at a heavier weight it drops faster... for a while. I also like to remind myself when I'm exercising that I burn way more calories than a thin person does, and faster too. At least that's one positive thing to hefting this bod around!

Hello, I'm Jeri. I've been "back on the wagon" for nearly two weeks now and I'm ready to be serious about my weight loss. (again!) Two years ago I went from 415 to 350 and managed to gain it back. But that's in the past! I'm 11lbs down in the last two weeks. That's a pretty nifty start right? Swimming is going to be my…
