  • Were you also diagnosed with PCOS? Usually IR in women is triggered by PCOS. If so please ask your Dr to give you metformin or glucophage it's used as a preventative for T2diabetes and treatment for PCOS. It had helped with weight loss as well as regulating female hormones. GOOD LUCK! :)

  • I started W3 yesterday! It's been 71days since I started my 1200 cal diet with adipex and c2-5k on Mon, Wed & Fri, I do insanity on my off days and take Sunday for my rest and "cheat" day. So far I lost 19 pounds!! I use mapmyrun and C2-5kPro for android. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

  • I have them, and can't get tall boots in extra wide calves to fit. I've always have very muscular legs, and they're noticeable. My hubby's legs look more girly than mine :cry: But it's nice to be the fat girl with really nice legs and feet.

  • W2-D1 was OK til I got to the 4th and 5th runs! Then I was breathing too hard. I may repeat the week to get comfortable with it.
  • I need to get a HRM, but my question is how do I enter the workout? Put it under jogging (training, pushing wheelchair)? OR something else like walking very brisk pace then running/jogging 5mph? etc...
  • Arodarte91, have you tried baby wearing? I do that for my daily exercise AND he's a grumpy teething 7month old! I give him gripe water and put him in my wrap carrier, he falls asleep most of the time so I can go for a walk,house clean and even do baby wearing exercises. :smile: Good Luck everyone!
  • I also baby wear my 18pound baby while on a walk. So I'm thinking of using the hiking option than the walking carrying a 15pound baby. I also push a 35pounder in a stroller at the sametime at 4.0mph.

  • I use the c2-5k pro app on my phone with my playlist downloaded so I don't miss the walk/run cues. I also run mapmyrun app OR endomondo app in the background to record the route via gps to calculate the distance, calories, pace etc. and only use my armband. The less you carry the better. :)
  • Claire - You CAN repeat the weeks, there's no strict rule that you can't! :) I have stayed on week 1 for 2 or 3 weeks before moving on to week 2. And I plan on repeating a week if i need to before I move on to the next.
  • I'm starting W2 D1 today! Yesterday I walked my 1st 5k! So now my new goal is to RUN my 1st 5k on July 4th! Good Luck!!
