I just finished day 7 with this dvd. I'm on the first circuit. It is hard, she kicks your butt. But I think it is effective with strength and cardio mixed together and all for 30 mins.

I am doing the first level of the 30 day shred it is hard, but i like it. You are killing yourself just the right amount and really stamina comes with time. So you should be fine. I am 400+ lbs and am doing it and getting through it.

I'm from iowa too and this is my first winter. I know how it goes with not having money. I am doing work outs at home as I am not working right now. They are pretty good. doing the 30 day shred with jillian michaels and a walking dvd.

My man is doing this with me as well, but we are in different countries so at home support is important to me as well. So I have a few gym partners who I support and they support me. It's nice to be understood. I hope your husband catches on as to why this is important to you and not let his insecurities kinda ruin it for…

gum is a good way to avoid snacking. The chewing action tricks your body and the flavors tricks the mind. shouldn't be used to avoid meals though lol

i went with a friend as support to a zumba class and loved it and was able to keep up with it. it is wonderful and when i can i'm buying the dvd's

yeah there can be visual denial. and it is sort of the same thing I have. like in my head i don't see myself as 400, but once i look in the mirror I see it. and like you my bmi is off the charts as well. lol ...can't wait till i'm at least near the chart that'd be nice lol The 5 week predictor gives me hope for the future…

I never thought I would weigh over 400...so...yeah. pretty crazy and most days I don't fee like I weigh that, but then I look at the mirror and yep...i weight that.

this is fairly normal. I go from extremely sleepy from one month to cleaning till all hours of the night the next month (High energy). Working out however will help your period (helps with cramps and what not) and give you more energy to battle the times where you just want to curl up and sleep all the time. At least it…

8, 8 ounce cups of straight up water. it helps with alot of things. Muscles, digestion, but if you drink caffeine you should also up your water intake. Cause as someone above says they act as a diuretic and can dehydrate you. Which kind of counter acts the point of drinking water and putting healthy things into your body…

sodium is the worst thing in the carbonated waters. I thought it'd be good to drink strawberry carbonated water some times, but looking at the sodium made me put it back.
