6-1/2 weeks postpartum is still very early. Your body has been through a lot and it will take some time to recover. I know that's hard to hear.... I would say keep eating right, calculate your TDEE and eat about 20% less, and be patient. I cannot stress patience enough! After a baby, your body has some healing to do. This…

I saw on your profile that you have a young baby. First question, are you nursing right now? And, how old is the baby now?

I'm just going to throw in an 'Atta Boy!' right here. I found your post very refreshing. You found something that works for you. Over time, you will be able to tweak it to meet your needs, like most of us have. You're happy so I'm happy for you! :flowerforyou:

I know that couldn't have been easy to put out there. I, too, missed your 'big bad meanie' posts but it sounds like MFP chewed you up and spit you out a more introspective self. :flowerforyou:

I had the same problem when I was doing clean eating. I am at 1260 calories a day and when I only allowed myself clean (not processed) foods I had a hard time even meeting that little calorie goal. Peanut butter and almonds became a staple for me. I found that, for me, clean eating was not sustainable. I would do great for…

Exercise! I always exercised with someone else or a group. Loved those group classes at the gym or walking with a friend. Several months ago I started exercising alone and I absolutely love it! I put on the music and just lose myself in it. Tuning out the world and my stresses. I found my zen place.....

I'm so sorry you are feeling hopeless. I have always done great for a week or two then crashed with a 3-day eating binge. This caused me to lose and gain the same 4-5 pounds for a really long time. For me, it turned around when I added friends as part of the MFP experience. It has made me look forward to logging in every…

Only my opinion: I think you should stay at a deficit and do some strength training. You can maintain the muscle you already have and it will show through as you lower your body fat. I'm doing the same.

Love this! Add "Stacey's Mom" to your workout playlist. It's a real motivator.

This will probably be lost among all of the OP bashing but I'll give it a shot. Those of us that are friends with the OP know that she is an incredibly sincere person. One that takes the time to personally support, motivate and build up each person on her FL. OP did not mean to offend anyone. This is just sad......

^^^^ Truer words were never spoken (or written  ) I'm a mom of 4 boys too. Making me a priority was very hard to do but I seem to have everyone on board now. I completely understand your time and motivation issues. Feel free to add me if you'd like. Good luck to you!
