This is the first episode where I found it hard to reconcile the actions of certain characters with the comic book storyline. That's about as vague as I can be without feeling like I'm giving away spoilers.

I couldn't agree more with this!!

I think because the main group has taken a few emotional blows recently it will be someone from Abraham's group. Maybe Rosita or Eugene.
-
Does anyone else follow The Walking Dead on Facebook? They posted a picture yesterday of the entire group walking shoulder to shoulder. All I could think when I saw that was 'there is too many of them....someone is going to die.'

I like this theory!

Was anyone else expecting Carol to start making out with Daryl in when they wandered off together? The kiss on the forehead was sweet but I thought it might go the other way...

This episode was slow but I think it was definitely needed. It was kind of hard to watch because I don't think that we've ever seen the whole group that hopeless. I really liked the scene where it showed the group walking slowing with the zombies behind them. It really captured the physical and emotional exhaustion that…

I’m surprised that Michonne seemed so upset about the community being gone. I think she is starting to feel like she did before she found Andrea. She wants a place to be able to stay and feel safe. I was also surprised to see Glenn having more a hard edge. I think that’s definitely a switch between those two characters.

I hope that since they killed off two main character back to back that the other are safe...for now.

Ok this actually made me laugh out loud. I think what got me more was Beth and Bob since their deaths were so recent.
-
When Tyreese first got bit I thought "I'm not that torn up about him dying." Once he got in the car and saw Bob, the girl and Beth I shed a few tears. I think he didn't see Karen, his girlfriend, because when he forgave Carol for killing her, he moved on from that. Clearly he hadn't moved on from losing the girls, Bob and…

I noticed that some of them had what looked like numbers carved into their foreheads. I also noticed that graffiti because at first I thought it said "Wolverines" and I recently rewatched the original Red Dawn.

AMC just posted the first 2 minutes of the episode!!! amctv.com/the-walking-dead/videos/the-first-2-minutes-of-the-mid-season-premiere-the-walking-dead-season-5

I remember Gareth saying something about using them to be able to find their way back. I wonder how far they went. Obviously they lead the way to Terminus but where did they start??
-
How far behind the group do you think Morgan is? I feel like they showed the magazines when Father Gabriel was there and then again when Morgan was there to illustrate that a good amount of time has passed. They haven't made it clear how close or far Morgan is behind them.

I LOVED the look on his face when he saw Rick's name!
-
I'm glad that Father Gabriel finally had his eye opened to the realities of the world out there. He's so clueless about what is really happening and now he knows. I was glad to see him finally carrying his machete.

I didn't cry too much when Beth died...don't get me wrong...I screamed but not much tears. Then during The Talking Dead "In Memoriam" where they had the part for Beth that said she'd soon be in her Dad's arms I totally lost it!!!!

tv.yahoo.com/news/walking-deads-daryl-prepare-yourself-171100392.html After reading this I think we will lose Carol or Beth. Remember last season we lost Herschel during the mid season finale. I'm still not emotionally recovered from that!!
-
I hate to say it but I agree with this. I think we're going to lose Carol.
-
13 out of 19. But honestly who remembers in what order the credits ran??
-
The whole Eugene/Abraham/etc story line seemed to get lost on me this episode. I got to like Rosita a little more in this episode and Tara a little less. I guess when it's the end of the world the little things make you happy but really?? She got that excited for a yo yo???
-
Am I the only one that thought Beth should NOT have trusted what the doctor said about what medication to give Carol?? I mean he already told her once to give the wrong medication. What's to keep him from lying again? Clearly they know that Carol and Beth have a relationship. Why else would Beth be trying to save Carol?…

I think that Father Gabriel (stupidly) thinks that there is another way to live. He still cannot reconcile the fact that all those people were killed in his church. He's still carrying so much guilt that he let all those people die that he doesn't want to participate in any more killing. My concern is less for Father…

I had a bad feeling about that guy from the beginning!!! And when he's telling his sob story about recognizing his friend my first thought was "All the zombies are burnt up, how can you even recognize him?!?!" Sure enough he was being shady. Poor Sasha was still so upset about Bob. She wasn't ready to deal with it and made…

I loved that they revisited all of the old spots from the first season. They showed the tank were Glenn found Rick. They showed the fence where Rick left the moving van when they went back for Merle. They showed the freeway that Rick rode his horse down. It's a good way to show much everything has deteriorated.

I hate to say this but I was a littler underwhelmed with this episode. Carol seemed to "meh" to me in this episode. Maybe that's what they were trying to convey. She just seems to have given up on any hope. I like the growth they are showing in Daryl. It broke my heart when that book fell out of his backpack. Such a…

If you think about it Eugene and Rosita are both using Abraham for the same reason....protection. Rosita just happens to make herself more useful than Eugene.
-
This was an interesting read...especially the part about Abraham's hand. Maybe it was meant to show that it's a reoccurring injury because he has a problem with controlling his temper. Also I didn't catch that he was still wearing the wedding ring.

I wondered what it was too. At first I thought maybe it was small town because it seemed to have small building on both sides of the road. When I saw the fences I thought maybe it was a farm and those were pens that they kept livestock in. It did seem a bit odd that there would be such a large collection of walkers in an…
