  • Thank you so much guys. For more info, I am pretty active ( I guess). I do Insanity workouts 4-5 days a weed which are strength training and cardio combined. I usually eat back most of my exercise calories so I don't think that I'm in starvation mode. I think I'm just stuck.
  • I usually burn about 350-500 cals a day exercising and eat back at least half, if not all. If I eat back all of them (which I have tried) then I usually very gradually start to gain.
  • I drink a TON of water (I always have) and I've tried switching things up a bit. I thought that it was a plateau for the first 2 weeks, but now it has been over a month! I'm just going to keep at it! Somehting has got to give! Maybe I'll try cutting sodium and carbs a little. I'm never "over" but I'm sure cutting a little…
  • I LOVE Insanity!!! I get a great calorie burn AND I've done some major toning. I can definately see my belly getting a little flatter! I've had great results and I love it! My goal was weight loss and toning.
  • I'm getting married in Novemver 2012! It sounds like a long time away but it is flying by! I'm not trying to lose weight for the wedding, but I promised myself that I wasn't going to try on a dress until I reach my goal of 125 lbs. I'm at 130 now and I seem to be stuck there! I've been engaged for 6 1/2 months now and I'm…
  • I'm in a wedding in 2 weeks and I lost a ton of boobage recently that left my dress needing about 5 inches taken up around the bust. Just wait until 2 weeks before for your last fitting and anyone should be able to correct things within that time frame. Darts in the back of the dress are a savior! Anything you lose within…

  • I LOVE Insanity. I have used it for about 8 months. I have to admit to not following the exact plan so of course I haven't gotten the promised results. I just don't have time to do it 6 days a week. I do it about 4 days a week and I do whichever DVD I feel like doing that day. I have gained some major upper body strength…
  • I use an HRM with a chest strap too, so I feel pretty confident that my calories are close. I only eat back some of mine, and only if I'm hungry. When I eat all of mine back, I gain or stay the same....never lose!
  • Get a steamer to do fresh veggies! All you need is water and a plug.
  • That made me smile this morning . Thanks.
  • I'm going to reorganize my fridge right now!
  • I'm 5'0 and my goal is 125 for now. I started at 140 and am now 129 but I've been working at this forever! I am guilty of not being consistent though :) I think that once I reach 125 I may lower my gaol to 120 but I'm not sure if I can go beneath that or if I would want to. I'm very muscular and I wouldn't want to lose…
  • You should lose a pound a WEEK, not a pound a day!
  • I never thought about it helping me break a plateau! I hope that happens!
  • I don't have days like this very often! It caught me by suprise. I'm just mad because I knew exactly what I was doing as I was doing it. I WAS thinking! That is what makes it worse!
  • Hi! I've been on MFP for about 2 years but I got engaged on November 3 this year! I use MFP to keep up with my weight and food and exercise all of the time but with wedding dress shopping time approaching, I've been a little more strict on myself! I'm getting married November 3, 2012! Two years exactly from the proposal!…

  • I don't care what size you are, dresses flatter everyone!!! Chances are that the last place that an empire waist A-line dress will draw attention to is your legs! I love the way I feel when I wear a dress! If it makes your mid section look good, then go for it!!! If you love it then get it...AND WEAR IT!

  • I have been on MFP for a couple of years and still have no clue what NSV means. Can you tell me. I'm probably going to feel dumb once I know but oh well.
  • I confess that knowing waitress and waiters touch the food on my plate and eat some of it makes me a little nauseous. No offense. [/quote] Well we do wash our hands over a billion times a day. And, look at it this way, I don't touch any of the food that you eat. I grab a fry and eat it. I don't grab a fry and place it back…
  • I confess that although my goal is 125, I really don't think that I will ever get there. As soon as I made it to 129 (out of the 130s) I immediately started slacking on calories and alcohol and went right back up to 132. I only got to live in the glory of the 120s for 1 day. It was that same day that I felt like I deserved…
  • I also chose the weight on my drivers license, which happens to be the weight that I was when I was 16! It is 125, however, if and when I ever make it to that weight I will probably change it to 119. I have never been below 135 in my adult life until now. I'm only 5' tall so 119 isn't all that skinny for me!
  • Hi! I lived in London for a summer and travelled to Italy, Ireland, and Scottland during that same summer. There are soooo many healthy options in Europe in addition to all of the scrumptious bad ones. Try to find foods on MFP that have similar ingredients and log those. My main suggestion would be to limit yourself on the…
