Fiiterpam had some great advice. Those are the exact things I did as well and I have lost 76 pounds in one year. My weight lose was extremely slow in the beginning but the best advice I ever received was "Stay consistent!" I also really have to kick butt at the gym, I work out 60-90 minutes 6 days a week, if I do not work…

I love it too! I think a lot of people don't know how good it feels to exercise once it becomes a part of your daily life. I was so sedentary my whole life that I had no clue how good I could feel.

Girl time? Too much sodium? Lots of strength training? It could be a ton of different things. Just take a look back over what you've done lately and hopefully you will find your answer.

I love this song too!! It's one of those sing along really loudly in your car and don't car who see you songs.

So glad your little one is ok. And congrats on the 5k!!! What a great feeling.

I did the same thing. Definitely get measured when you when reach your goal weight. I was squeezing into a 38ddd or 40d (when I started I was a 44dd.) When I went and got measured I was a 36G! I didn't even know that was a size. The diference in a well fitting bra is amazing.
-
Yes. Exactly. I only measured once a month though because for me it came off slowly. I would get mad and want to give up. I've lost a total of 50 inches so far.
-
Some months I've lost 8-10 pounds other zero, nada, nothing. Make sure you measure yourself too. The months I didn't lose I lost inches.
-
Great job! You look fantastic. I'm trying to lose the last 20 and ughhh man it is a pain in the *kitten*. I came this far I'm not giving up now.
-
Yum! Can't wait to try.
-
I started with the Couch to 5K program and had great success.
-
Sent you a request. This is me all the way.
-
That is awesome! Great work.

Love this thread. I am just shy of 5' 10 and my goal weight is 165. I am 189 right now. I have a very muscular build, the only place I have left to lose is my stomach. The lowest weight I can ever remember being in my teens until now is 170.

Aww hun, from the looks of your pics you are GORGEOUS and not fat in the least bit!! How did the guy ur dating react when his roommate said that? Guys are stupid sometimes. I'd tell them both to kick rocks and go find yourself someone that can see how much you rock!!!
-
Congrats!! That is awesome. I started where you are at in August 2010 and now I average around 15-20 miles a week at 6 mph. The couch to 5k was great and I repeated days/weeks that I found too challenging. It is amazing how quickly your body changes and adapts.
-
Great work!! I personally know what hard work it is, but so worth it it! We are the same height and sizes.
-
The same thing happened to me!! And yes it will even out just keep on going.

I started at 250 this past summer and I can now run 10 minute miles for 3 miles. And if I slow down to 12 minute miles I can go for 5/6. Just keep at it and you WILL do it! When I first starting working out I couldn't even walk on the treadmill for more than 10 minutes. I started with the couch to 5k program, and repeated…

Tami you are such an inspiration! When I'm having an off day I go watch your segment on GMA and look at your profile. Great work, you are beautiful inside and out.
-
You are doing great and you motivate me daily!! Way to go girl!
-
Love it!!!! You rock.

I've lost 70 pounds since February 2010. Went from a size 20 to a 8/10. Run a 5K numerous times a week now. I am only 20 pounds away from my goal. And I have completely over hauled my mentality and lifestyle. I feel better now than I have ever remembered feeling in my entire life. The big ah ha moment for me about this…
-
Congrats!! You two make an awesome couple.
-
We all have crappy runs. Not every run is going to be prefect. And you ran 3.5 miles before you stopped today. That is about all the distance I can run so far. Tomorrow's another day and it will be better! :)

I am in this EXACT same predicament right now!!!! Ughhhh. I thought I could handle the holidays...no problem I said, I will bake every one else goodies and not touch, lesson learned. Hind sight is 20/20 I would just throw it all away!! I know we shouldn't waste food, there are starving kids in ______, all those things we…
