Nope! Well...not unless I'd weigh 5 pounds lighter afterwards, each and every time...and it stayed off... :)

I have a 1-hour commute each way too so I feel your pain. Dinner is the worst for me. I come home and I'm starving and I grab whatever I can get my hands on. Not good. And it's only worse when the kids have sports stuff we need to go to right after I get home. BUT I'm bound to change this and I plan to start using my…

In general I don't think gyms are all that expensive these days and your health and well-being is well worth $20 or $30 a month as far as I'm concerned. Plus the workouts and such will give you confidence, and that confidence can make a huge difference in finding a new job. Plus there's the opportunity of meeting new…

I usually have egge whites - either scrambled (with some low-fat cheese) or I make an egg-white omelet. I pair that with some light multigrain toast and it's pretty satisfying.
-
Oh wow - that sounds amazing! I can't wait to make this! :)

I use egg whites - the ones in the carton already pasturized. They add a lot of protein without a lot of calories. And they really don't have a taste, so they go good with whatever else you add to your shake - such as PB2 (I love this stuff!), greek yogurt and the such.

I have a Polar FT60 and so far I'm really liking it. Got it on Amazon.com for $139.95. I like how it breaks down my heart rate into the 3 zones.

I agree with some of others - Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds videos are great!

I'm a slow jogger as well. I'm just starting back after being away for a while. I'm only going 4 miles an hour. That's about as fast as this old, tired, over 250-pound body can handle. But...it won't be like this forever, so that makes me smile!! :)

Wow - GREAT job!!! :)

I'm a 40 year old mother of 3 myself. I have a desk job and sit on my butt all day. I'm just getting back into running. Add me as a friend. :)
