My husband has been absolutely wonderful and I believe I am slowly inspring him -He is 36, overweight with high blood pressure, GERD, sleep apnea and allready has some issues with his heart-that I'm not going to try to spell. He is handsome to me at any weight (I do like big men) I just want him to be healthy and enegetic.

To loose 8lbs. & continue my excercise so that I never let myself get in this bad of shape again!!!! I am in the 160's (yay me), I typically plateau around this weight and give up but NOT THIS TIME!!!!

You might try a sandwich with apple or carrots or low calorie soup, etc. Something that takes a long time to eat usually satisfies me better.

I am using ROC Multi-Correxion Eye Treatment (for dark circles and wrinkles) and I have also found on really bad days that a cotton swab dipped in cold milk and applied to tired puffy eyes works wonders. Mine is hereditary but sometimes (when I consume alcohol the night before) it is worse.

Ha! Quit being so hard on yourself. I agree though that I do find my eating habits to be somewhat personal but I am trying to make myself accountable and it seems to be working, I very seldom go over my calories and I am ashamed when I do.

I like to cut an apple into small bites and throw in a handful of mixed nuts for a snack. It is sweet and salty and the chewing is so satisfying when I have the irresistible urge to snack all day at work.

I have started measuring myself. I read an interesting article on here yesterday about a lady who started weight training at 140 lbs. and has dropped 5 clothing sizes (I think she said to a size 2) and still weighs 140 lbs. So don't let the scale be your only progress indicator.

My advice: Be supportive (i.e. non judgemental) if he feels he can not come to you when the going gets tough he will just alienate you and do it behind your back.
