Like everyone's saying, it's a journey not a race...get back on track asap and leave the blip in the rearview mirror, where it belongs. One bad day isn't that big a thing, it's how you deal with it that's important. Don't let it derail you! Focus on the huge, positive changes you've made so far and all the ones that you're…

We're all adults so censor yourselves...if you think it's too much, don't look and don't post pics like that of you. But why stop everyone else who doesn't mind? Let us all choose for ourselves, and we'll let you choose for yourselves.

I'm sorry that you're having to deal with this...family is supposed to be the one place you can feel safe and supported. Since that is not the case here, you should tell your sister to take a flying leap. Seriously. It may be just what she needs to turn her attitude around. I imagine she is only torturing you because it…

Nice work...you can really see a difference! Keep it up! :o)

I'm not in the area but I do have around 100 lbs. to lose and I have only been on MFP for just over a month so I'm just starting too. Please feel free to add me...I'm on here ALL the time so if you ever need some support, let me know! :o) Welcome and good luck!

Amber: Happier and more patient is something we could ALL use, I'm thinking! Congrats! Drea: I'm with you...this time just feels different. I am in this 100%...no excuses, no going back! 'Course I'm only a month in...please check in on me in a couple months to make sure I'm STILL on track! ;o)

Amazing job...keep up the great work! :o)

I can't see your pic but it doesn't matter. Regardless of what we look like, we ALL deserve someone who loves us and truly finds us beautiful just the way we are. Maybe you should start by taking a look inside yourself to see why you don't feel good enough to deserve that. And if your husband is not someone who appreciates…

Maybe he just wasn't that into you, in which case you don't want him anyway. NEVER settle for someone who's settling for you...if you aren't the person he wants, you will always feel "less than" and everyone deserves more than that. Good luck! :o)
-
Yeah, but how many calories in those? ;o)

You could start him off easy by adding a few extra veggies to a curry recipe that he would already eat...? Some peppers, zucchini, cauliflower maybe. Just cut them up small and he'll barely even notice them! If you can get him to eat pasta sauce, you can do the same thing with that... Try looking up websites with…

I sent some friend requests and then decided I might just as well post a message for anyone else who might want to add me! Just starting out on here and have a looooong way to go (I'm in the top end of that range) but so far I'm loving it! Happy to have friends of any size and at any point in the journey...it's nice to…

Me too! I remember being around 180 at the end of high school (a MILLION years ago! LOL) and looking at pics from that time, I looked pretty healthy so I've made that my starting GW. However, considering how long it's been since I've been anywhere near that, I'll probably have to reevaluate once I get closer... Good luck…

<3 LOVE this! Good job doggies (and owner, who presumably accompanies them on these treks!)!

Nice! lol

Gorgeous...before and after! Keep up the wonderful work...I'll be joining you in about a year! ;o)

I just started on here 2 weeks ago and I have a challenge going with my fiance that if either of us goes over our calories, we miss out on girls/boys night for the month...so I am extra motivated! lol But what I do when I find that I'm over by a bit, is take the dog out for a walk or go do some sort of exercise to make up…

AMAZING!!!!!! Keep up the outstanding work! :o)

Welcome and best of luck! I have about 120 lbs. to go and I have been at it for a week now...so far, so good! Please feel free to add me! :o)

I just posted on another similar thread...glad to know there's a bunch of us! I have about 120 lbs. to lose before I'll reevaluate. Just started on Mar. 5/12 and am planning on starting weekly weigh-ins Sunday the 18th...wish me luck! Please add me if you'd like...I think the more, the merrier as far as support and friends…

And then some! Probably right around 120 lbs. and then reevalute (since I will then be the thinnest and healthiest I've been in over 20 years!). Just started Mar. 5/12 and I haven't done my first weigh in yet...my plan is to do it once a week on Sundays, starting the 18th (giving myself a chance to post a BIG loss, fingers…

Take it from someone who is way more out of shape than you are...you CAN do this! TAKE IT SLOW! Start at 20 minutes for the first few days, then gradually add 5 minutes when you don't feel like you're going to die from doing the 20. You will be surprised at how quickly your body will adapt! Before you know it, you'll be…

Apparently, they're supposed to be brown...that's how you know they're ripe!

Buy your snacks in those 100 calorie portions...that way, at least when you indulge, you won't be kiiling your calories for the whole day!
