I just signed up for a 5k that is going on in may. They are doing mini weekly team walks to prepare for the 5k for 6 weeks prior, but I'm also doing leslie sansone 3 mile walks videos every other day to condition myself. This is my first 5k and I did sign up for it as a goal, however this is my first time doing something…

My son (who is 3) is non stop entertainment. An aunt was visiting once and she asked him did he have any money in his pockets. He said no so she pulls out the dollar and gives it to him. He proceeds to tell her he can't buy anything with a dollar. LOL. Different day, he's getting out of the tub and as I'm toweling him off,…

I'm not bipilor, but like a couple of other people, I do live with depression. I've not had total success with stopping the binges (in fact, I had one just last night). honestly, what's been helping me is really mentally reviewing what issues/situations are causing me to binge. I know my triggers now so it's a bit easier…

This thread rocks. :)

I'm in KCMO. :)

Wouldn't it be easier to just say "hey, eat whole fruits and veggies, unsalted nuts and lean poultry and fish?" That's basically all that's not on this list.

Sent: LMAO. I think suckling applies to the balls. I can't be thinking about ur balls right now. I won't get my work done. :P *hangs head in shame for a moment and then thinks "eff it!" and walks away proudly* LMAO.

Here's what I found online: http://www.livestrong.com/article/499452-how-to-calculate-juicing-calories/ OR http://www.ehow.com/how_5155227_count-calories-juicing.html The first link sounds easier. I also put "fresh juiced" is the food database search and quite a few items came up (apples, carrots, etc).

As soon as I read the title I wanted to high five you. I get that people feel obligated to work sick for financial or responsibility reasons, but really, giving the entire workplace full exposure to your illness is just not helping. When I'm sick, I stay home (and it's not like I don't need the money when I'm not working).…

I think in a diet plan that is laid out for you, you learn less about how to eat when you get off said diet. Here's it's not a diet. It's budgeting for your body. You have X amount of calories and you have to learn which foods give your body more bang for your buck.

Thanks everyone.

This is my goal anyway so I'm in.

I don't know that it burns belly fat, but I do drink it from time to time in a glass of hot water with honey added to offset the bitterness of the Braggs. It seems to help me when I feel a cold coming on as well.

Pow is right. Congrats girl! You are awesome!

Took me about 6 weeks to get back to normal. Took longer for me because I'm a single mom of a toddler and there was no one else to care for him during my recovery. Slowed it down quite a bit. Everyone else who I knew who had the surgery took a little under a month.

Dammit. I too am afraid of clowns. Am I disqualified?

By the store brands instead of the name brands, or buy items in bulk (like beans and grains). Coupon for things (takes planning and patience, but you can save a lot like that). I don't know if you have stores like Aldi or Save-A-Lot in your area, but there prices are considerably cheaper than traditional grocery stores.…

This entire thread brings back so many memories!

That's not totally accurate. I had the laproscopic surgery. You don't wake up with no pain/problems anymore. Recovery time varies from person to person but it's not 0. Some people go back to work after 2 or 3 days, but some still need weeks to recover (as I did). While I no longer have problems with vomiting or gall stone…

I don't know that you could track it. I would think I wouldn't count the calories if I threw it up later. That's a tough one. Sidenote: I will say that once I got to the point of throwing up with gall bladder attacks, it was all down hill for me. Even with eating right and taking the Prilosec my doc gave me, I couldn't…

I'm here. Ladies feel free to add me.

This isn't one I created, but one of my favorites. A Haiku about getting out of bed: No, no, no, no, no. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. No, no, no and no!

I feel so naughty/dirty now.

All it takes is one positive friend to change your whole perspective on fitness pals. I'm going to friend you (and everyone else on here) so I can send you some encouragement and positive vibes. I must say, my friends list is AWESOME, but I think it's because I ignore the negative and promote the positive. Hang in there,…
