  • What a great idea, I will have to try this! Thanks
  • Hi, my name is Lauren and I am 21 years old. I'm a full-time student with one more year left (yes!). Last year, I used to run literally all the time for hours on end. However, I became burned out and told myself I was just going to take a week off from it---fast forward 6+ months with hardly running. I miss it and am…
  • 60 miles for me, please!
  • I'd like to join-- with a goal of 60 miles!
  • I know everyone probably already touched on everything I'm about to say--but, I thought I'd state my opinion anyways. Hi there! I know what you mean about giving into cravings and then obsessing about them once you give in---this happens to me sometimes, but less frequently lately. I have a really poor relationship with…
  • Yum! I think I will have to invest in one of those spirooli's! I usually just chop my squash, so it doesn't look as nice as yours! Thanks
  • That's great! I'm doing pretty well; I've been trying to incorporate more fruits and veggies into my diet and am getting rid of dairy as well. I stepped on the scale today and I lost 2 pounds from the last time I weighed myself. However, I'm going to wait till Saturday when I usually weigh myself because it might change.
  • 1) Starting weight 144.0 lbs, current weight 143.0 lbs 2) I did pretty well my first week, but then I went on a binge after I weighed in, so I hope to at least stay at 143 and not gain any weight this week. I wasn't really surprised I binged, but surprised how long I lasted without a binge (8 days). So I guess this is a…
  • Anyone can feel free to add me as well!
  • That is wonderful! And so motivating! Thanks for sharing
  • Last night I binged on all things chocolate...it was a terrible night that I just estimated calories and skipped breakfast today (sounds terrible, i know). I bought a food scale this evening and plan to have more accurate diary entries from now on! Also, I went to the gym this evening and did cardio for about 40 minutes. I…
  • I'm so sorry...I can't imagine having knee pain with walking...I am sure that is rough. Have you tried swimming? I hear it is really great on the joints. And CONGRATS on the pound!
  • Maybe limeade?
  • I drink at least 64 ounces and at least 96 ounces the days I workout. I learned in my nutrition class this semester that if you feel thirsty, you are more than likely already dehydrated.
  • Hi there! I definitely understand what you mean by emotional eater--I am definitely that (I also struggle with binge eating). In the past I tried to gain control of it by myself and managed to, but then everything went downward. I think motivation and support is very important with a new lifestyle change. I will add you!
  • Hello! I am also a return MFP. I struggle with motivation too--so I will add you!
  • Hi! I'm 21 and trying to lose 15-20 pounds--I've yo-yo'd so much these past couple years and it's time for the weight to stay off!! I'm going to add you and anyone can add me if they like!
  • Hi! I definitely understand what you mean by being addicted to food...I have struggled with binge eating almost my entire life. This past weekend I decided ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH and I need to change my eating habits. If you'd like, feel free to add me and we can motivate each other! -Lauren
  • I plan on working out 5-6x a week for at least 30 minutes either by going to the gym or doing a workout video at home. Also, I plan on tracking what I eat and try to clean up my diet significantly. Right now I'm trying to focus on incorporating more veggies and fruits into my diet and eventually kick out the processed…
  • I am super excited about this challenge!! CW: 145 lbs GW by the end of this challenge: 137 lbs (so I hope to lose at least 8 pounds, about 1.5 pounds a week). My motivation is my brother's graduation at the end of May...all of my family will be gathering together. Also, none of my clothes fit since I've gained this weight…
  • I am very excited about this challenge! I have really been struggling with motivation and this is just what I need!
  • I'm new to the board--but, not new to weightloss. I am 5'6' and 145 pounds with a goal weight of 125/130. I've gotten to that weight before, but I'm recovering from a binge eating period. I'd love to join!
