What kind of fruits are you allergic to? Surely not all of them? If you're looking for something salty, try Triscuit Thin Crisps plain, or with avocado or salsa. I also like low calorie popcorn, string cheese, pita chips, and little rolled up bits of deli meat with mustard. Oh, and snapea chips! If you tend to crave…

Definitely saving the pine cone diet idea for a later date. :glasses:

Well, I don't think I have any particularly unique advice, but what eventually got me over my last plateau (I was having problems getting below 183--I was stuck there for about a month) was taking a short break. I didn't even mean for it to happen! I had been eating really well for about three months without any breaks and…

Ah! I know exactly what you mean! My problem is that once I've calculated how much I'm eating (I always do this beforehand, it keeps me from being impulsive) I don't want to go through the trouble of redoing the math and changing my entries. :ohwell: A lot of times I'll eat way past my comfort level just because I'm…

I love making middle eastern red lentil soup. :) Lots of protein, easy to make, super filling, and low-calorie. (Also cheap... Very cheap. It only costs about $4 to make a 2.5-gallon pot full. :drinker: )

I love love love triscuits with avocado and a little bit of lime salt! Also, low fat string cheese, fruit juice popsicles, popcorn, and peaches! If I'm feeling particularly indulgent... Fun Dip. :blushing: EDIT: Oh, and unsweetened applesauce! Applesauce is magical because I can eat it until I feel like I'm about to…

I put on 12 pounds immediately after my surgery, but I was able to lose it again with very little effort over the course of a couple of months. I got a little too excited at the prospect of being able to eat high-fat/protein foods for the first time in a year. Excusable, in my opinion, after subsisting off a BRAT…

Ah, I have the same problem! I have tried EVERYTHING! Shaving with the grain, waxing, exfoliating before and after, countless different kinds of aftershave and astringent, special shaving creams, baby powder, salicylic acid... I am doomed to have bumps as long as I have hair! I get them even if I use clippers or don't…

Once in high school, my best girl friend at the time announced in front of the entire class that I was "the one that could make good grades without studying" but that it was fine with her because she was "the one that could eat whatever she wanted and not get fat". It was the kind of thing that we joked a lot about…

I can't say much in regards to your other questions, but... Eat when you're hungry! Just keep it healthy. :drinker:

That's wonderful! We started out at about the same place and it sounds like we have the same goal weight, too! We can do it! The forum is really great. :) Everyone here is so supportive... I mostly lurk, though. (And a late congrats for having the best kind of multiples... I happen to have a twin brother, but I'm not…

Hey, good luck to you! :) I'm doing the c25k as well! I was right at 200 pounds when I started, down to about 174 now! Those first few pounds come off so quickly when you get your eating habits straight; it's a good motivator!

I find that MFP underestimates my calories burned when I compare it to the readings I get from gym equipment. The treadmill and elliptical machines I use include a heart rate monitor as well as personal info input, so I trust them a little more.

Oh, you should definitely do it! I know I would if I looked as good as you do. :blushing: Men are so lucky! They can run around shirtless in the hot weather and no one even bats an eye...

I'm starting week 7 tomorrow morning! My 5k is coming up pretty soon. August 17th! Ahhh, I'm so nervous! :frown: It keeps me motivated, though. No more skip days!

I guess it's too late if you haven't already taken before pictures in your skivvies, but it really helps to compare if you do happen to have one! I lost about 20 pounds last summer and was in a poor humor because I felt like I didn't look different at all. I thought that everyone was telling me I looked thinner because I…

I've been running every day for two months and I'm still stuck losing the same five pounds over and over again. ◔̯︵◔

Milk, yogurt, cabbage soup, half of an avocado, romaine lettuce, tomatoes, meal worms (?)

They're all just jealous of your fantastic cheekbones. /thread

Green tabasco sauce! Low calorie and really tasty. :)

I was about to say the same thing... 1120 is a lot to eat in one sitting, but it's really not the end of the world. You just won't loose that extra .3 pound this week. Don't beat yourself up about it, you'll just end up feeling lousy and unmotivated. You just had an indulgent moment. That's fine if you don't repeat it.…

I was about 20 pounds in when I noticed small changes--my clothes were starting to get loose, I could fit into old jeans that had been hoarded in the back of my closet for five years, people started mentioning that I looked thinner. I'm now about 30 pounds in and I'm slowly becoming more and more aware of the larger…

This is the internet, and it doesn't owe you anything.

I wish mine would just shrink and shrink and never keep shrinking. :I I really do hate having big boobs. I'm a practical-minded person, so they really bother me. They just... get in the way. Unfortunately, I know they will probably never get below a size C. The last time I was under a size C, I was in the 7th grade. Haha.

This is thrilling news!
